Michael Strahan reports -

"...moving on now we turn our attention to the Dover Vikings. Dover quarterback Nick Morton currently leads the rankings in both yards and touchdowns. We're joined today, via Viking-cam, by one of the men responsible - offensive tackle, Stump Whacker. So Stump, how you doing?"

"I'm great Michael, it's nice to be here."

"You've been there nearly a year now after joining from the now disbanded but once legendary Krakow Outlaws, how does Morton match up compared to McNair?"

"Very well, they're both great quarterbacks. The two teams have similar play books so it was very easy to adjust coming here."

"Several teams were interested in taking you, was Dover the best choice for you?"

"Without a doubt Michael, without a doubt. There's still ten games to go but I feel we've already sealed a play-off spot. So long as we keep on doing what we're doing we'll be there, it's just a case of ensuring a home run and keeping the accountants happy."

"Anyone you want to avoid in the play-offs?"

"Anyone, anytime, anyplace. I'd love to play Firestorm again - they beat us by a field goal in that game and Nick threw his only picks of the season there, so that's one we'd like to readdress."

"What about Lyon Hippos? They're sitting at the top, unbeaten and on a twenty-five game winning streak. Any tricks up your sleeve for that one?"

"Well it's a few games away yet. There's some tough battles between here and then, but I predict that it'll be an explosive game. This one will be won and lost by the front line guys. They've got Steak and Entropy picking up sacks and hurries for fun meanwhile we've kept our guy pretty much untroubled. In fact if you dig out the play you'll see that Bud slipped and Earl ran right past him. If the Hippos get the pressure they'll do well, but if we can control them then we'll take the win."

"Ok Stump, a pleasure talking to you. We'll catch up with you again soon. Moving on again, we take a look at USA AA#2 and the possible next big thing in the receiving circles...."

goDV.com, a fan run Vikings website reported that various members of team were spotted at a Calais cash and carry en route to Lyon. A club "insider" denied that the team used the trip as a glorified booze cruise. Players were unavailable for comments.

Michael Strahan reports -

"...it's certainly a strange one. Well the results are in so let's go pitch side at Team Liquid where our reporter, Wood Rodson, has caught up with Stump Whacker."

"Thanks Michael, Stump a disappointing loss today huh?"

"Yeah, they're all disappointing. We lost to a good team though so we can't complain too much."

"You're still in the play-offs though Stump, the results are all in and you'll be hosting Hamburg."

"Is that who we got, wow, funny how things work."

"Are you confident of readdressing the previous matchup?"

"Once you hit the play-offs you've gotta be feelin' confident. There's a lot of tough teams about and any of them can go all the way. It really is anyones game."

"Okay Stump, thanks for your time. Back to you Michael."

"Thanks Wood, join us as we return and take a look of some of the seasons best bloopers...."

Just for your information:

It is not a shame to threw a pick against us it's normal.
We lead the league last season with picks and are second again this season.

Michael Strahan reports - "...once again it's that time. We're going pitch side with Wood Rodson."

"Thanks Michael, once again I'm joined by offensive lineman, Stump Whacker. Stump, so close yet so far, you must be feeling pretty blue at the moment."

"Yeah, I'm biting my tongue at the moment to stop myself turning the air blue."

"You matched them almost yard for yard but scoring wise you couldn't keep up. What happened there?"

"Well we changed a few things but at the end of the day they were just a better team. They got some great pressure on Nick who had a decent game, our runners played well and our receivers were consistent. We just got outclassed and I tip my hat to Lyon."

"What now for the Vikings?"

"I know a great cash and carry in Calais..."
