Michael Strahan reports -
"...moving on now we turn our attention to the Dover Vikings. Dover quarterback Nick Morton currently leads the rankings in both yards and touchdowns. We're joined today, via Viking-cam, by one of the men responsible - offensive tackle, Stump Whacker. So Stump, how you doing?"
"I'm great Michael, it's nice to be here."
"You've been there nearly a year now after joining from the now disbanded but once legendary Krakow Outlaws, how does Morton match up compared to McNair?"
"Very well, they're both great quarterbacks. The two teams have similar play books so it was very easy to adjust coming here."
"Several teams were interested in taking you, was Dover the best choice for you?"
"Without a doubt Michael, without a doubt. There's still ten games to go but I feel we've already sealed a play-off spot. So long as we keep on doing what we're doing we'll be there, it's just a case of ensuring a home run and keeping the accountants happy."
"Anyone you want to avoid in the play-offs?"
"Anyone, anytime, anyplace. I'd love to play Firestorm again - they beat us by a field goal in that game and Nick threw his only picks of the season there, so that's one we'd like to readdress."
"What about Lyon Hippos? They're sitting at the top, unbeaten and on a twenty-five game winning streak. Any tricks up your sleeve for that one?"
"Well it's a few games away yet. There's some tough battles between here and then, but I predict that it'll be an explosive game. This one will be won and lost by the front line guys. They've got Steak and Entropy picking up sacks and hurries for fun meanwhile we've kept our guy pretty much untroubled. In fact if you dig out the play you'll see that Bud slipped and Earl ran right past him. If the Hippos get the pressure they'll do well, but if we can control them then we'll take the win."
"Ok Stump, a pleasure talking to you. We'll catch up with you again soon. Moving on again, we take a look at USA AA#2 and the possible next big thing in the receiving circles...."
