Hmmm, these are fishy. Oakland is undefeated and has beaten Buffalo, Vegas, and Spicewood. You would think they would be ranked higher then 4.

This ranking seems to be highly related to the quality of competition...thus influencing the stats.

I'm not going to take anything away from teams, but the league projector shows Buffalo as having faced one of the easiest schedules (combined record of opponents is 15-26-1) while Spicewood's is one of the most difficult (opponent's records 29-13), and Spicewood has the victory over Buffalo. Buffalo has faced the bottom 4 of 5 teams in current standings as well as bottom 4 in projected final standings. Spicewood has played 2 of the top teams and 3 mid-ranked teams, along with the victory over Buffalo.

As you have pointed out, Oakland has faced top-level competition and has beaten everyone faced...they should be ranked higher, at this point in the season...

Man, 3 east teams in the top 10. Boy, I thought we had improved. I wonder how it has combined the East and West teams.

This takes into account margin of victory, correct? That would explain the west having more "top 10s". A lot of gutted/crap teams in the West as compared to the East.

Yeah...that's a good point. Prolly has a lot to do with it.

Like Mcbriar said, its all the West teams get to beat up on the 4-5 gutted teams to move up the ranking.

So does it take into account the margin of victory and how good the opponent is. Some teams have only played 1 or 2 good teams, some have played 5-6.

Yea a couple things were a little messed up when I put the numbers in... I'll fix it for this week's and I'm working on a better version, it's just a bitch.
