1. Edinburgh Black Knights (6-0) (Last: 1 Best: 1)
The Edinburg Black Knights: we piss excellence. Actually, I was a little nervous about this game, but the Knights aren’t in the clear. There are a lot of teams in the conference that have yet to boost.

2. Icelandic Vikings (5-1) (Last: 3 Best: 2)
Handled a resurgent Jamaica, despite a late charge. I said at the outset they were one of the most improved teams in the league, but so far they’ve exceeded expectations.

3. Glasgow Tigers (5-1) (Last: 2 Best: 2)
Really struggled about whether or not to move them down in the rankings. But they had 190 yards and their only two touchdowns in the 4th quarter, after the game was essentially over. Still, they outgained Edinburgh.

4. Milan Cock Fighters (4-1-1) (Last: 4 Best: 4)
A flippin’ tie? WTF am I, an amateur ranker of imaginary football teams, supposed to do with a tie? You stay in 4th.

5. Bonn Jovi (4-2) (Last: 5 Best: 3)
Recovered from their loss to Edinburgh by handing the Sharks their worst loss in 4 games. And you know what they say about sharks. They’re slippery. Especially when… well, you know.

6. Trillville Hoods (4-2) (Last: 6 Best: 3)
Rolled over Las Vegas, but again gave up a surprising number of yards. Another tune-up game for the defense against Chaos this week, maybe they can tighten some things up.

7. Tilburg Power (4-2) (Last: 7 Best: 7)
A battle of two teams headed in opposite directions. Tilburg is now on a 4-game winning streak, and just extended Oakton’s losing streak to 4. They should keep it going against Frankfurt, but you never know with this league.

8. Frankfurt Universe (3-2-1) (Last: 9 Best: 6)
Gotta hand it to the Universe. They’re outmatched in a few positions, have a host of CPU players, and actually have a level 9 CPU player listed as a starter at RDE, but they’re hanging in there for that 8th playoff spot. That tie could prove to be vital before it’s all said and done.

9. Schiffertown Griffins (3-3) (Last: 10 Best: 2)
Resurgent? Gasping for air? Time will tell if this win is the start of a new trend or just an aberration in their current one.

10. Middlesbrough Mayhem (3-3) (Last: 8 Best: 5)
Dropped another to a struggling Schiffertown. Both teams needed the win in the worst way, but the Griffs held the ball almost 10 minutes longer than the Mayhem.

11. Oakton Huskies (2-4) (Last: 11 Best: 3)
Haven’t broken 270 yards in three games. Have held their opponent to under 540 yards only once in those same three games. Ouch.

12. Belfast Shamrocks (2-4) (Last: 13 Best: 12)
Taking wins where they can get them. They’re only a game and a half out of playoff position, but they’ll have to fight to get there.

13. Jamaica Rumrunners (1-5) (Last: 12 Best: 12)
Should beat the Lunatics, and could conceivably win their last four games. If they can sneak up on a couple of other teams, they may actually get to .500 and contend for a playoff spot. That’s a lot of “ifs”, though.

14. South Beach Sharks (1-5) (Last: 14 Best: 13)
Had a tough matchup against Bonn Jovi, and Glasgow may be looking to take out a little aggression. Talent isn’t the issue with these guys so much as depth, which is a common occurrence in this player market.

15. Chaos Engine (0-6) (Last: 15 Best: 11)
Making a case for the last spot in the league. Their game against the Lunatics later in the season should be interesting. To them at least.

16. Las Vegas Lunatics (0-6) (Last: 16 Best: 16)
Continue to make moves and have put together a solid core. Wins won’t come easy in this conference, but watch out for them late this season and throughout next season.

Through 6 games, the top 8 teams in this league have 2 losses or less. And a few more teams are nipping at that 8th spot. This league is ridiculously balanced, and it's making my job tougher and tougher.

The race for playoff spots is going to be frantic!

That's gonna happen when a team passes 67 times..

Very true, and Las Vegas is very much a different team than when they were Sundsvall.

Now that's some funny stuff there.

Thanks for the nod towards our Vikes. Looks like we beat that "Ranked #3" curse from the past few teams that had it.

You're still working in those Bonn Jovi references pretty well!!! Good job!!!

10 more puns to go. I'm running out of steam. I might have to quit early before I tear my ACL.

BTW, the Vikes currently lead the league in pancakes by a pretty big margin. And you haven't exactly been playing pushovers, either. I guess that's what it takes to break the #3 curse

Yea, I couldn't be happier with that crew either. I'm not sure what our trainer is feeding them, but I'm not stopping him!!!

We still have alot of improvement to do and still have to finish off our roster but I'll take that win over Bon Jovi. They just passed too much. think it might have cost them. They did come on strong and just about shut us down the 2nd half though.
Good Game guys.

well it pretty much goes like this.. we will win our next two games with ease.. we wont really go up in the rankings because they are both fillers for some W's... but the benifit will be that its a time saver while our chemistry is brought back up for the real teams. sorry for not giving you guys enough to talk about ... iam in IRAQ!! dun dun d unnn... they say piss on the knights here..ha.. jk

I dunno about that the Rumrunners are stronger then people give them credit for and they don't have the Team Chemistry problems you guy have right now. It may be an upset.
