The O got a decent boost! The D did not!

Offenses did get a boost, but I think the defensive tactics are harder to master. Better stated, its easier to mess us the defensive tactics. I've seen several plays that, had the person building their playbook logic though about it, should never have happened (I won't point them out, in hopes they continue to do it).

I do think some of the changes need slight tweaking to allow a dominant defense to be dominant.

Oh, and I really hate the "nerf" they give to teams up big. I understand the spirit of the rule, but the execution just isn't very good. Against the Blue Wolf, my guys looked more like their Season 2 selves than Season 4. It is better I guess, than a 255-0 win.

I don't know if we'll be able to slow your offense down or not. It's been pretty ridiculous so far. In previous seasons we have been able to rely on a pretty dominant defense, but of course, that has been thrown for a loop somewhat. It's not just a speed nerf problem, though. I'm not sure you can play shutdown defense anymore; it may be better to be a 'big play' defense alongside a good offense, so I'm worried that until our team can adapt to the new simulator, we will not be quite as strong as we once were since our team concept was kind of broken with the new advantages the offense has.

Of course, boosting will surely help. But I think we need to see an improvement on offense, always a weaknesss for us, before we can be dominant again.

Yea its definately much tougher to keep a defense dominant this season that it has been in the past. The O-Lineboost seems almost unfair in some ways, they make every block and they stick it for 5 or 6 seconds at a time.
Our 2 teams are similair in a lot of ways I think this game is really going to magnify the effects of the season 4 changes, however they may turn out.
Hopefully nothing ridiculous happens like our playoff loss to Richey when their 1 CB had 4 interceptions. Lol As long as that doesnt happen for either side, it should be a pretty good game.

Yeah we did. Our O didn't come to play today. It's ironic we were talking about offense dominating this season. During the 1st Q and half of the 2nd Q of that game it was a field position battle.

Time to make some adjustments and get ready for Chicago. Good game as always Horde.

Wow. That one surprised me. Getting up early, we forced you to throw the ball it looks like, which was less effective than your running game. I guess we've always played you fairly well, but it looks like this season will be very interesting.

Yea it was gut-wreching to see that box score, we still have ALOT of work left to do. Glad it happenned now, better than taking that kinda loss in the playoffs.
Looks liek Chicagos the only team that could undefeated at this point but not if we can have anything to do with it.

Looks like the top of the West is going to be extremely competitive.
