Ok, I think that this year, we chould actually have a probowl team. Any ideas how we could do it?

I think we could probably do it the same way we did the old pre-season coaches poll. Every owner votes for players from their conference, player with the most votes wins at their position.

I think this idea would work. Either an owner (or their designate) makes the picks. To be fair, a coach could pick a player from their team at no more than 1 position on each side of the ball?

I agree Air. The one proposed last season was getting complicated. Something simple like pick 4 oppenents on each side of the ball (1 DL, 1LB, 1 DB, and 1 at-large for Def. 2 skills and 2 OL for Off.), then pick one of your own for each side of the ball. One rep from each team submits.

I think the best way to do it is to give each owner the ability to choose 6 players from their team for 'nomination', 3 on each side of the ball.
We then compile a list of players at every position for each coach to look at, scout, analyze, etc, and come to a decision for 11 people on each side of the ball.
Coaches ONLY may choosetheir own players to compile the list of nominations, but are not allowed to choose any of their own players when making a final determination.
This is the best, only way I could see it working, the coaches picking their own players as nominations is the only way we can make it less time consuming.

Sounds good to me. I have to agree with only coaches as well, otherwise it gets too time consuming and in depth, and that usually leads to the whole thing falling apart like last year.
We will really need one head pro-bowl guy to collect all the nominations and votes and put everything all together though. Anyone care to take the honors
Edit: Well, we could possibly do one head pro-bowl guy per conference to lessen the workload.

I'm willing to do it for the East. I'll do the West as well if no one steps up.
