a few good contests this week. As we reach the midway point, the top teams are scrambling for those last few easy wins before they gear up for their second halves, and the bottom teams are looking forward to getting exp and building a better team.

Last week-7-1
This week-28-4

Vanuatu over Las Vegas-Volcano’s last easy game until the final week.

Newcastle over Hattrick-Game of the Week-I’ve been pretty high on the Minotaurs all season. For the Srbija, we see if last week’s win over the Endzone was a fluke. Could really go either way.

Huli over Sydney-Hammerhead get just outmatched by the Warriors.

Tasmania over UWS-Outlaws better run for cover. The Tiger Train is about to run them over.

Wollongong over Micronesia-Mutineers may put some points up on the Vamps, but really Wollongong is in a whole nuther (sp?) league.

Chillcothe over Small-Titans could end four-game scoreless streak, but they’ll still get crushed by a talented Convicts team.

SAFsrbija over Antarctica-Seals last tough game for six weeks. We got blown out badly by the Endzone last year-don’t expect that to happen again

Fiji over Small-hey, I had to pick a winner. Giants just have way too many CPU and low-level players.

Nice job, I can't wait to see how the other undefeated teams fare when they face who I consider the top 3 teams in the league coming up here shortly...

I think Hattrick played a very tough game and got pretty lucky to pound out those 17 pts in the 4th to come back...they were down pretty big after 3. I don't think their luck will last against Newcastle though, who looks to be undefeated heading into the SAFS matchup....

Good luck everyone!

Well, the Mutineers are still a work in progress and we will be giving our all against the Vampires. Hopefully they won't score 100 on us. lol.

One question though... I have 2 other players on different teams. A lvl 6 DE that I just made and is in a D-league. He is going to stay there until his season is complete and then I plan on putting him on the FA market or maybe add him to our roster as we have two CPU DE's right now. My other player is on a team that is getting gutted (I'm pretty sure it is anyways) and the owner won't release him.

The question is.. Why won't wouldn't he release my player when 65%-70% of the team is CPU players? We had a reasonable team and chemistry was around 90. I checked it out about a week ago and our chemistry was 10. I checked the roster and we had a ton of CPU players. Our GM used to own a team in our league (I believe the Piranha's) and two of his players were on our team and now they aren't. The owner is not trying to rebuild the team as of yet and half of the people that aren't CPU players are asking to be traded or release.

I know the answer to this, you must have beatup the owner of the team in Middle school so he is getting back at you now. This means the answer is he hates you and wants your players to rot.

At least thats what I would do if you beat me up back in the day.

Thanks. If we hadn't had that freak situation where we went for it on 4th and 18 in our own territory, who knows what would have happened?

Heh....Ok SAFS

A team mate found a script error on that that has been corrected. That was probably the best 3 quarters we have played all year. Not sure if we could have hung with you all for another quarter, but it was a good game for sure!

Now....after that brutal schedule, the Seals are looking for a playoff run. Not sure if 8-8 will get in though.

On another note....what was up with the Place Kicking.....that was incredibly bad....I saw some threads in general about them making another change to kicking....if so, they need to revisit that.

I think the biggest problem with the kicker is the xpm. My kicker is built really good but he has missed 6 extra points 7 games into the season. I think in real football he would have been fired long time ago.

So yes maybe 1 missed extra point per season but a good kicker missing 6 in the first half of the season is way excessive. The Kicking is broken this season. I just feel bad for any team that looses by 1 point and there kicker missed an extra point because of a broken system.
