I know it's a little random at this point in the season. I ran the Satchmo Power Index for BBB last year. Even more so this year with the new AI and everything else.

Besides, we know we've got a good stretch of tough games left. I think the team would be thrilled/amazed if we only lost 1 regular season matchup.

I would be pissed

Me too, Chuck, but I've gotta keep that humble owner thing goin.

Nice projections, if it weren't for the fact that the Hitmen are ranked 10th and the Raiders 4th, when we've already beaten them once this season.

Your losses to the Elves and SD probably outweigh that one win. Just my guess though.

Its because Portland lost to SD and Elves and Dallas creamed both of them. It outweighs the fact that you beat Dallas

games 1 and 2 haven't been kind to Dallas. 1st season, i was just learning the glb ropes. 2nd season, we had a brutal opening 8 games and underleveled roster. This season, I was learning/tweaking the ai. So Modus, I'll give you that you beat us fair and square but i'd say if we played again today, it'd be a different result.

Do I hear a friendly calling?

Wow. I know the Elves have 2 losses (to a couple great teams) already, but 9-7? Really?

I don't think we've had 7 losses in this conference total yet.

john,

I reread my post and realized that it read not as intended. My point was that there are several teams ranked above us -- Proctorville being another example -- that, imho, probably shouldn't be.

It certainly wasn't a knock on the Raiders. I think you guys have done an excellent job this season.

Well I certainly never counted on that projection. I figured it would be close, but you guys just kicked our ass today. Huge job gameplanning against us. Back to the drawing board with our defense I guess.

1 out of 3 isn't bad. You guys still have the overall advantage.

Thanks, we knew we had to scout you pretty well since you do a good job scouting your opponents on a weekly basis.

We'll meet again I'm sure

Ehh, who cares. Just some mathematical crap. Doesn't take into account boosting status, tactics adjustments, plain fooling around, etc.

What do you know, again teams move up with a win and down with a loss. This really doesn't take very much into account. Doing this from game 8 on would probably be more acurate b/c teams are still learning how to use the tactics.

Another huge factor, some teams already have very high chemistry, some teams are low but building quickly. A extremely close game, early in the season, between a team with 100 chemistry and 60 chemistry might turn out differently in the playoffs when the 60 team is up to 85-90.

I agree. I didn't think chemistry was all that big of a factor, but its bigger than most people think.
