Well... speaking of tough draws in the Tournament.... I'd like to pledge my case.....
Small prediction... Porto over Corbas by 2 in a nailbiter.....

Transylvania's a good team... but I don't think anyone will be able to top Polk High's matchup:

No idea how, but they also have a full 100 level stadium after only one season of existence.

It wasnt their first year. They were in AA before.

How does that work though? The Western Europe A leagues came into existence as a capped league. I know for a fact that no teams were relegated to A6 Zeta last year so how is their league an exception?

And wouldn't that be a HUGE disadvantage to the rest of the conference/league if they have a relegated team coming into a CAPPED league? Imagine the Armada relegated into Alpha at the beginning of last season. It doesn't make any sense.

Maybe it had something to do with teams requesting to move. I have no clue.

The way A6 has been getting kicked around in this tournament it doesn't look like we compete well with the rest of WEA.

Mannheim didn't try. Kind of regret joining the tournament so I let the OC and DC use the game to play with settings a bit.

Just got home so I haven't seen our game against Marcy yet. Man, we kept it fairly close till the fourth, but sonofabitch I had a heart attack when I saw that score. I thought we got blown out by Chernobyl initially.

here is my stadium and my team was in the same league as marcy last year and created at the same time...it's definitely doable...the way we did was that we took a loan out during the offseason in our first season to buy an extra section and then we were able to win most of our games and make it to the playoffs which gave us enough money to build all out the other sections.

as far as i know, both teams were created in season 3.

Thanks for the clarification man. I knew it didn't sound right if a team was relegated to WE A last season. Very impressive to both Lyon and Marcy; I'm just happy the Panthers were able to hang with Marcy Projects for the first three quarters (using the same tactics for our league game).

That's one of the few regrets I have with my team; the fact that I didn't take out a loan our first season to purchase a corner section right away.

definitely...a loan during the off-season can be paid back almost immediately from season ticket sales...and after i repaid my loan, i took another out immediately to buy as many seats as possible to maximize ticket sales...and then i'd repay the loan before the 10 day period before the first interest payment.

Nice... did you do this on a whim or did you do research beforehand? I actually received my team by surprise, so it was basically a mad scramble to start recruiting free agents and I didn't have much time to research owning a team.

Come on, really? There's no way that my Neutrons could have blown out your Panthers.

Hence the heart attack... We've had games where we thought they were gimmes, but a bounce here and a bounce there and we ended up losing.

And it's not like you guys have a bad squad; anything is possible. Now against the Rockets, I wouldn't have believed it.

I was GM on a few other teams so i didn't necessarily do "research" but i already had experience running the finances of a team. i got my team in the last release for season 3 so it was a surprise for me to get my team as well. I agree though, the people that got their teams late in the off-season seemed to be at a disadvantage.
