With some big matchups this past week, there were lots of teams moving several spots. The picture is starting to become a little bit clearer, although anything can still happen...well...almost.

Biggest riser: Montreal Canadians and Winnipeg Warriors (4 spots)
Biggest faller: Saskatoon Guerillas and Calgary Thunder (4 spots)

Here are the rankings...

The Playoff Teams:
Team Name/Record/Prev
1) Vinland Vikings 5-0 1
Continue showing off their dominance but the next two games (Iceman and Sasquatches) will be the big tests
2) Saskatchewan Sasquatches 5-0 3
Has played good teams and dominated every single one of them. Game against #1 Vinland Vikings in two weeks
3) Halifax Hashishim 5-0 2
Got to play an easy team (Barkmere) but beat them by a lot. Still has two more games against cupcakes before they face a challenge again.
4) Queen City Black Cats 5-0 4
Thoroughly dominated a very good team. Has another big test next week against the Canadians.
5) Cold Lake Wolverines 5-0 6
Had yet to play a very good team, but showed dominance when they finally did
6) Nebraska Husker Maniacs 4-1 7
Starts three week span of games against cupcakes. Will be 7-1 before they are challenged again.
7) Cheyenne Mountain Air Force 4-1 5
Was beat by a very good team, but will rebound in their next two games against easier opponents
8) Sudbury Spartans 4-1 8
Only loss was to #8 Cheyenne. They are a force to be reckoned with.
9) Manitoba Icemen 4-1 10
Playing very well right now, which is good because their next four games are absolutely insane.
10) Vancouver Vindicators 4-1 11
Shows lots of potential at times, but should have beat an easy opponent by much more
11) Hillsburgh Hillbillies 4-1 13
Ever since their opening loss they have been on fire
12) Montreal Canadiens 4-1 16
The way they lost to the Spartans may have been a fluke. This next week vs the QC Black Cats will tell the truth for this team.
13) Saskatoon Guerillas 3-2 9
After a wonderful showing in their first three games, the Guerillas are slipping...but their losses have been to #1 Vinland and #5 Cold Lake
14) Revelstoke Revolution 2-3 12
This team is just baffling. They have the ability to play very well at times, but also to play pretty poorly other times
15) Red Deer Blue Elk 2-3 18
Has faced, and lost to, probably the three best teams in the Eastern Conference
16) Winnipeg Warriors 2-3 20
Their three losses are against quality teams. They may start making their move now that their next two games are winnable

Still Competing for a spot...
17) Calgary Thunder 2-3 14
Hard to imagine I once had this team ranked #4
18) Calgary Wrestlers 3-2 17
Wins have all been against poor teams. Losses have been against really good ones.
19) Destruction Bay Dragons 3-2 15
They can beat up on the cupcakes, but they haven't shown they can hang with the real teams
20) St. John's Salty Dogs 1-4 19
Have another very tough game next week against the Red Deer Blue Elk, but after that game, they should win four straight before playing QC.

Need a miracle:
21) Flint Tropics 3-2 21
Just finished their set of three games against the cupcakes. Now can they play with the real teams?
22) Portsmouth Cavaliers 2-3 23
They still have one more easy one before the going gets tough.
23) Saskatchewan Beavers 1-4 24
Have faced a very difficult schedule, but haven't put up as much fight as they should have

No Hope:
24) Kelowna Outlaws 0-5 22
Aren't a good team, but the ones below them are worse
25) Iqaluit Arctic Wolves 1-4 28
May just be a bit better than some of the teams around them. They've had a tough schedule so far.
26) In San Jose Pimpin Aint Easy 0-5 25
Lowest ranked team they have played was the Wrestlers at #18. Next lowest was #11 Hillbillies. Should win next week vs Castlegar
27) Quebec Boreal 2-3 26
I miss the Cryboys. Beating up on their ghost just doesn't cut it.
28)Toronto Smoke 0-5 27
Played the #1 team, and the score reflected it. Will Bort's WR change their fortunes?

Should be demoted to D-league ASAP:
29) Castlegar Crusaders 0-5 29
This team is so bad I don't feel like commenting
30) Barkmere Bulldawgs 0-5 30
They should be much better than this, but they aren't.
31) Bloodwesier Bugle All Stars 0-5 31
At least they score a few points each game
32) Peterborough Preachers 0-5 32
Free stat line for whoever they play

Yeah I agree with everyone when they say we should have beat San Jose by more. A win's a win though. We'll earn our way back up

Honestly, I think San Jose is VERY underrated. They have a pretty good team, just have had a tough schedule: Wrestlers (3-2), Vikings (5-0), Wolverines (5-0), Hillbillies (4-1), Vindicators (4-1).

All winning records. They could beat some of the teams ahead of them in the standings.

i'd just like to take a minute here and say nobody would be beating up on the "real crimeboys" even though a lot of the players had big mouths we were still a great team and i was the gm. and now that i'm with the husker maniacs i really don't see people beating on us either 1 game we lost was all fg's and could have gone either way. trust me it will not happen again.
