Alright guys, now that 4 weeks are done teams are starting to show their true identities, so lets recap what happened this week.

Buffalo Bugbears vs. Dayton Buckeyes 24-51
Tonga Havoc vs. Orlando Gators 104-16
Majuro Marshalls vs. Oklahoma Bears 7-104
Papeete Pirate Pandas vs. Adamstown Abusement Park 24-30
Gold Coast Marauders vs. Cook Island Cobras 48-12
Papua New Guinea Cannibals vs. Streator Storm 56-31
Palau Pride vs. Sacramento Gunslingers 21-20
E.C. Express vs. Melbourne Dreadnoks 7-31

The Elite 4:

Tonga Havoc: A HUGE win over the Orlando Gators, but that was expected, and they are proving that they are a team that likes to win. Next up are the Oklahoma Bears, where they should pick up another win.

Palau Pride: The Pride was nearly upset by the Gunslingers. 21-20 is cutting it a bit close for an Elite Team. Maybe their gameplanning got rusty, or the gunslingers got lucky, or whatever it is, if Palau plays like that against the rest of the Elite teams, they will lose. Must have been a fluke, but they should be concerned enough to look into it and fix there mistakes ASAP.

Oklahoma Bears: They pushed their way into the Elite with a 104-7 win over the Marshals. Even though if they play any of the other top tier teams they would be the dogs, you cant deny what they have done so far. Next they play the Havoc, so they need to win to stay up here in the Elite.

Melbourne Dreadnoks: After beating the E.C. Express, they proved that they are one of the best in the league. But they are not finished yet, next up the play the Pride, who almost got beat by a 2nd tier team. They have their second tough game in a row, so lets see how they matchup to the Pride.

Contenders:

Papua New Guinea Cannibals: They just beat the Storm 56-31. Their offense is no worry at all, but giving up 31 points to the Storm raises some questions about their consistency. Although I dont think it is a long term problem, it is something they need to fix. One more big win and they will move back up into the Elites.

E.C. Express: After losing to the Dreadnoks, the Express need to refocus, and go after the Storm. The Express are the heavy favorites in that game, but it is a must win for them if they want to move back up into the Elite Group. The Express are still considered a threat to whoever plays them, and they want to get back into the Elites again at all costs.

Gold Coast Marauders: After beating the Cobras 48-12 they are on a 2 game winning streak, and they are now considered a contender, and next up is the Abusement Park, so I dont expect them to move down again in the next few games.

The Muddle Middle:

Cook Island Cobras: After a devastating loss against Gold Coast, they are looking to rebound against the Marshals, who are 0-4. Will they win? I say yes they will.

Dayton Buckeyes: Now that they played a team that wasnt an Elite, they got their first win in a nice fashion. A 54-21 win over the Bugbears brings them up to the Muddle Middle.

Adamstown Abusement Park: Another 100 yard game for SAM I AM, the Park's defense is not looking too hot. They only beat the Pandas by 6 points. As you can see they can beat the bottom feeders, but not much more to talk about.

Streator Storm: Another loss, but they are not bad enough to be a bottom feeder. They still have some gas left in the tank.

Sacramento Gunslingers: After losing to the Pride by only 1 point, they showed that they belong above the Bottom Feeders. They now proved that they have the ability to win.

The Bottom Feeders:

Papeete Pirate Pandas: Even though they have a win, they have no room to brag.

Buffalo Bugbears: Clearly a bottom feeder, we are still waiting for them to show us something.

Majuro Marshalls: 104-7 loss to the Bears, enough said.

Orlando Gators: Gave up 104 points to the Havoc, but look at it on the bright side, they were able to put up 16 points. Thats worth something isnt it? OK your right, not really.

Matchup of the Week:

Melbourne Dreadnoks- Palau Pride

For the second week in a row, the Dreadnoks are one of the teams in the biggest game of the week. They were able to defeat the Express last week, but can they handle yet another Elite Team? The Pride just had the scare of their lives when they barely beat the Gunslingers 21-20. The Pride are wide open for attack, but can they fix their mistakes in time for the powerful Dreadnoks? I think they can, but either way, it will be another playoff preview. You know both teams will be in the playoffs, they are just fighting for homefield advantage.

Make your predictions and place your bets here people!

Not so fast I think Bears are tough. This will be a big challenge for us here in Tonga. We are looking forward to this.

Same to you Bombfast! I just started reading here. I took over the team right before the season started. I was a GM. I have been pretty busy since taking over there. Zatarra is still there as an agent. He just didn't have time to keep up with owning the team. Very cool thing you are doing here Deeds thank you,

Yes, nice work Deeds, this is by far my favorite thread in our league forum. We have a tough game against the Pride. They beat us last year and we returned the favor in the playoffs so we are all tied up at 1-1 in our rivalry. This game swings the favor but I have no doubts game 4 will happen this season as well.
