The campaign has been long and winding. I can't even name all the destinations we've been to or the carnage we left behind but we closed up the Zeta campaign with no casualties. The boys have been solid, following their commanders bravely into each battle and we have victories to show for it. Near the end the guys had a chance to cool down and relax but that almost cost us when those crazy Tasmanians came at us. We do as we always do, persevere and push on as our final goal is almost in sight. The long time in the field is taking it's toll on all of us but we'll get through it and be better for it. After a brief fight in Europe, my advance scouts tell me that the final battles will be fought exclusively on the shores of Guadalcanal and that'll make it easier for the men because we're well defended and ready. I salute all the fallen enemies, who have fought bravely and honorably. Honey, I promise I'm coming home soon.
