As far as that post about Brady always having a supporting cast? Can you name any top WR he has ever had prior to Moss? Brady basically has made his team better each season. He has never had a top RB or WR so that quote is just comical. See if I can rattle this off, Andre Rison, Sterling Sharpe, Donald Driver, Ahman Green, Dorsey Levens, Marc "I love to whirlpool with high school girls" Chumura....

If you look at it from the beginning i would say packers, pittsburg, dallas

from change to being NFL it would be pittsburg, dallas, san fran, greenbay and new england

I agree. Of course we have so many little kids running around, thinking New England has the "best team ever!" when they really haven't watched vintage Pittsburgh or San Fran teams. Those teams(especially Pitt) played rock solid D like I've never seen.

You can spit out stats all day if you want, but IMO, stats are for losers. Football is about winning. That's why you play, to win. Of course, some self-centered players nowadays play to get stats, but look at their teams. Chad Johnson? The Bengals can't seem to get it going. Football is a TEAM sport, and if you don't win, I don't think you can call a player "great". They can be "good", but not "great".

I agree this is a "TEAM" sport but we are talking about who the best QB was, not who was the best TEAM.

Ill stand by my comment that leadership cant make a tackle or an interception. You put the best player in the world on the worst team and that means he isnt the best player anymore? Your arguement is severly flawed.

By your arguement barry sanders was a scrub, bruce smith, erik dickerson, patrick ewing (nba) fran tarkenton, jim brown, steve largent, gale sayers, dan fouts, BO JACKSON, Earl campbell, Curtis martin.

I realize you never said they were scrubs but you get my point..winning a superbowl has ZERO to do with being a great player.

I have no idea how you can say that not winning the superbowl means you COULDNT be the best ever. Again...one player cant win anything..a team does.

I never said "take the best player, put him on a bad team, and he isn't good anymore", you did. I said that winning a Super Bowl makes a player great, and not winning one makes you good at best. It's just my opinion. BTW, the numbers you posted comparing Favre and Marino were not all that different, AND Favre won a SB lol.

Not all the different i agree..Favre was badass..but i stand by my comment that winnign a SB dont mean shit as far as who was better. It just means you got picked by a better team...or that you got traded to a better team.
