Now that 3 weeks are in the books, lets see what happened last week.

Sacramento Gunslingers vs. E.C. Express 17-28
Cook Island Cobras vs. Papeete Pirate Pandas 36-7
Melbourne Dreadnoks vs. Papua New Guinea Cannibals 55-28
Streator Storm vs. Tonga Havoc 24-49
Oklahoma Bears vs. Orlando Gators 76-0
Adamstown Abusement Park vs. Buffalo Bugbears 28-21
Majuro Marshalls vs. Gold Coast Marauders 14-91
Dayton Buckeyes vs. Palau Pride 3-45

Elite 4:

Palau Pride: Another big win against the Buckeyes, they remain as one of the Elites. 327 rushing yards is quite a number, so watch out for their running game going forward. Next up are the winless Gunslingers, so another win is probable.

E.C. Express: The Express keep on rolling with another win over the Gunslingers, and with a solid offense and a great defense, the Express are expected to keep on winning, but their next game will test their team like no other. The Dreadknoks are looking tough, so the E.C. Express will be tested in this game.

Tonga Havoc: Beating the Storm 49-24 shows that they are a team that can win. With almost 500 yards of total offense in this game, you know that they mean business. Their next two games will probably be easy for them, and then the play the Cannibals, so until then, they remain on top.

Melbourne Dreadknoks: After getting upset by the Havoc really ticked off the Dreadknoks, so they took it out on the Cannibals. I predicted that it would be a close game, I was wrong. Anyone who beats the Cannibals 55-28 belongs on the top of the list, but now they have another challenge. They will try to stop the rolling E.C. Express, and after that they go against the Pride. Tough games ahead, how will they cope with it?

Contenders:

Papua New Guinea Cannibals: After being crushed by the Dreadknoks, they will look to rebound against the Storm. It should be an easy game. They are still a hot team, so watch out. They will be pushing to rebound back into the Elite group, where they feel they belong.

Oklahoma Bears: They crushed the Orlando Gators 76-0 for their third straight win, and they will probably win next week as well. But after that their schedule becomes alot tougher, and fast. If they can beat one of the top tier teams, then they will be alright, but it doesnt look good for them later on in the season.

Muddle Middle:

Gold Coast Marauders: They ran away with it against the Marshals, but since they lost against the Bears before that, they are no higher that the Muddle Middle for now. They still have to prove themselves.

Cook Island Cobras: After losing to the Pride in game 1 they have come off with 2 straight wins. They could make a push to be apart of the contenders if the beat Gold Coast this week.

Adams Town Abusement Park: SAM I AM finally performed like he has promised, but they still only barely beat the Bugbears 28-21. They are going to have to play better if they expect to do anything this year.

Steator Storm: Just got killed by the Havoc, but can they rebound against the Cannibals? Not likely.

Buffalo Bugbears: Very bottom of the middle, so they will have atough time proving they should be higher on the list.

Papeete Pirate Pandas: Just a step over the bottom feeders, no bragging rights at all.

Bottom Feeders:

Sacramento Gunslingers: 3 losses against 3 very tough teams. I dont think that they belong way down here, but until they start winning, this is where they stand.

Dayton Buckeyes: Another team that shouldnt be way down here. They might get a win this week however.

Majuro Marshalls: Lost all three games, and they are unlikely to win one soon.

Orlando Gators: Same story as last season, nothing to talk about.

Matchup of the Week:

E.C. Express - Melbourne Dreadknoks

It will be a good game. Both teams are in the Elite 4 and both teams need to win to prove that they are the top team in the league. The Dreadknoks just trounced the Cannibals, and the Express just came off of their third straight win. This game could go either way. The E.C. Express are rolling ahead, but the Dreadknoks are going to try to de-rail the powerhouse. 2 powerhouse teams, 1 winner, 1 loser. This could be a playoff preview folks! Place your bets!

Great write ups Deeds, We are looking forward to this game, we feel confident we found some better use of the tactics and have a win against a great team and a loss against a great team so the third tough game will determine where we really stand
