Botswana plays the 2 new teams today and Saturday. Look forward to playing them as they look pretty tough. Which Dream team will we get, the one with Jordan and Bird or the one that didn't win it all...oh, wrong dream team. Will we get the team that beat Rwanda and won 20 in a row, or the debacle that played Congo?

I thought The Dream were going to be the best team in the Lion conference IMO to start the year. I researched their team owners, and last seasons games, and they have tremendous builds, great GM's, and good game planning. When They beat Rwanda I thought I was right, but when they lost to Congo, I was kind of shocked to be honest. Either Congo is the real deal, or the Dream had a off day. Or both.................. I'm leaning to both.

Yeah, the Dream had a great system. It is tough to compete with an "in-house" team like that because they can dial in everything and have zero loose ends. I was looking forward to playing them with a 20+ game win streak, but I still envision a tough game today. Kind of odd for me being nervous for a lower level team, most games we are the lower level team and I feel good, I'm usually only nervous when when we play the really high level teams.

I'm sorry, but your syntax and vocabulary confuse me. What in the world does this mean? Originally posted by majech

My bad. How about this...

The Dream have a great system. They have few agents and they know how to build players. This is hard for teams to compete with because they can dial all their players in because they do not have to worry about inactives, bad builds, or players not set correctly.

Hopefully that clears that up.

It does, and yes I agree. Tho we probably have more agents than you think, yeah we are a very tight knit and active group.

Good game Bugeaters. Thought it would be a little closer score-wise but I guess we reaped the benefit of a few TOs and big plays.

Good game Ridge. 5 TO resulting in you scoring 24 points is not a good way for us to win. Throw in a 62.5 yd TD and you have a WOODSHED on your hands. I hope we meet again in the playoffs I want another chance.

Again thanks for sending my QB to his room with no dinner. He has been crying since the game ended!

Yeah, 5 of our last 7 drives ending in turnovers is a tough pill to swallow. We did not punt in this game! I wonder how many times a team has not punted and lost by 2 TD's??? I took the Cape Town loss hard last season, but getting beat by a team that is about 4 levels higher is understandable. Getting beat by a lower level team whom you outyard and NEVER punt is crazy.

Well, I have to hand it to the Dream, becuase they handed it to us, lol. We just couldn't hang with them. Good Game Dream! I hope we get to see you again in the playoffs!

As far as Congo beating them, I think Congo came to play this season! Congrats to you too Congo!

Good game Outlaws. Man your team is explosive.

Congo is a very good team. I think the Lion conference is really balanced, there are a lot of good teams here, the fact that no one is undefeated after week 4 is a testament to that. The league winner could end up been a 12-4 team.

GG Bugeaters..

You guys played a heck of a game! The levels are deceiving for the Ridgebacks. This is my first season playing with them, but I played against them last season, so I know they can handle business on the field... The team has heart!!

The playoffs should be a fun group of games to watch this season!!
