Hey, I'm the guy Dan mentioned who had the better formulations and will be posting from Week 4 on, probably. Don't exactly know about Dan's formulations but the ones I used nearly matched his rankings.

HoustonMark, you should be somewhat familiar with these rankings: the file/calcs I'm using are from Moontayle, one of the GMs in the EEPL.

Moontayle didn't post any rankings last season. I'm sure he did season 1 or 2 in AAA, but in the Pros, I was doing a coach's poll and then a spreadsheet (which I will be posting here after probably 2 more games). Man, last year and the season before, the EEP forums were awesome...but we've really quieted down. I'm really hoping we can get this thing so active that you've got a lot or catching up to do every day. We shall see!

Oh, and we had another guy doing a math based ranking system at the time. I suppose he felt all the bases were covered.

I just like the activity of our league.

Why not just have Dan's & Hedge's polls up? Kinda like the AP and Coach's polls. We can discuss the differences between them.

Either way is fine...people are always going to complain about human polls or computer generated rankings (bcs). Happens in real life, so it might as well happpen here.
