I understood your point, but I don't think a Coyotes loss stings your guys any worse than when other teams lose. People could write 72 pages of crap when the Bugheads lose, but that would not cause the stinging to be any worse than it already is. I HATE to lose, period.

Ditto...

Under Callahan it was, that guy was such a clown. Did not like him since the first quarter of his second game here. That whole situation really divided Husker nation. He is now gone, Tom Osborne is back, and Bo Pelini is the man. All is well in Husker land once again.

I'm 33 years old and have live through 2, count them TWO, loosing seasons in my entire LIFE. Not sure, but I bet the only sports fans than can say that are Husker fans.

Try living near a bunch of Carolina Basketball fans. For a 40 year old UNC-CH fan, the count of losing seasons is ONE. They are bandwagon fans and don't even know it.

I know it's only D-III, but there is a school in Minnesota called St. John's that has the winningest coach in NCAA football history.

The had a 4-4-1 season in 1986 and a 4-4 season in 1973, but their last "losing" season was in 1967. If you count the seasons with .500 records as "winning", they have had just 2 losing seasons since 1950 (1956, 1967).

That is very impressive, but I'm not sure D3 compares to the level of Husker football. I wonder how many St Johns fans there are outside of their alumni.

That is an excellent example. Might be different with basketball with only 5 starters, but a very impressive example none the less.

Yeah I definitely agree with that.
