My game of the week is Horde vs Death Valley but there are 2 more good matchups.
Bugs vs Oklahoma and Chicago vs. Albuquerque.

I predict that today's winners in the East will be... happy to be 1-0. Seriously, with all the changes this season, it's probably tougher to pick winners at the start of this season than ever before, especially with great matchups like Slashers at Fury.

We'll begin answering some questions today. Will Viridia and Lizard Lick, which had what could only be considered disappointing performances in Season 3, get things back on track in Week 1 of Season 4? Will Tecmo hold their opponent under 100, something they failed to do in the preseason? Will Arlington's Season 3 success carry into Season 4?

I have no idea what is going to happen. The tactics have made it such that Seabrook could run the table this season if they are good game planners and learn how to use the engine to their advantage.

Both of our games in the preseason were about experimentation, but I was honestly surprised that both went into overtime. We might see some teams that are stuck at 0-0 this first week, especially if both elect to use Flames54's tactic of punting every down.

No suprises in the West today, nothing got too shook up it seems which is good I guesse.
Onto week 2...

Yeah, nothing too exciting. I am still waiting to see what happens when they roll out the pass rushing options.

Well the Hellas Longhorns took their lumps today. We had a few small victories, and considering where we are at in regards to most teams here..... we will enjoy those little victories.

So far I am liking the Avanced Al settings for the offense - we pretty much have the "kinks" worked out with the defense - just the offense needs to be more consistant at moving the ball to give the D a rest.

Had a couple of players gain a level - so very slowly, everyday, we are creeping up on everybody.......

Now if the other 15 teams will be like the girls running from the monster in horror films, stumble.....and break their leg - well, we would appreciate that as well.

It seemed to work pretty well against the Fanboys, I wonder how it would do against some of the tougher teams in the league. i guesse we will find out!
