i finally discover the forums for our league ! lol

hello to the other team managers.

I came accross this thread and was very embarassed as its about me and my shocking knowledge at the time this thread started.

I was introduced to the game by a friend. Created a few players and got them on their teams. However i could not resist the lure of owning my own team so i applied.

Yes, i had no experience at the time of taking on my team. Unfortunately instead of getting a cpu level 13 capped team to learn the ropes with i got an existing team full of experienced player managers.

Yes it was a nightmare !!!

Fortunately those players were eventually traded to new homes and i hope they are all happy.

I then had time to bring in my own players. Learn the AI and learn how to manage a team.

I would like to think now i am much more experienced and me and my team are starting to get more respect amongst my peers and fellow managers.

I would say this about how you started having been in a much worse situation, but lucky to be give an option of being a GM for it for a while: is to at least give a GM option for adding to squad depth to someone on your team. The biggest thing I did was just make sure that everyone got enough plays, and also that they were included in the squad depth chart. This was a team that had 3 kickers and 2 punters! There wasn't much I could do about scores, as the team was hideously unbalanced.

It looks like you'll start learning in depth now. One thing you would do well to form is connections with other Managers. Keep a good one with your previous team, Fletch03, as you could take on players that he might possibly not be able, or be able to pass on players that his team can't as well for other players on his team or associated teams. If you start down that path, then you might be able to pick up hints for tactics.

well i run the team myself. all aspects of it.

I dont have any involvement in the running of North Georgia and would not want or take any of their players. All the players on my team are my own players that i created and it will always be that way.

Thats why i am able to run the team myself as i dont have to spend any time with a team forum or looking for players.
