Fortunately we avoided any really goofy shit in the first scrimmage. I really wish we had 3 or 4 of these pre-season games to get this stuff ironed out.

3 scrimmages would be ideal.

Nope - our settings are correct, I am leaning towards Frisky's evaluation of it. Chalk it up to a bug that could have bit us in the ass but, luckily, didnt

Bet those guys are glad they were just scrimmage games.

I still think we could all use 3 scrimmage games. I'm glad we have two but there's still going to be tweaking of this system going into the regular season I'm afraid.

I'm leaning towards another scrimmage game. We haven't really had too many problems for the Warriors, but I would like to make sure that nothing's going to creep up during the season...

Agreed. You can't exactly put full stock in the results from the 1st scrim game, so hopefully they get the bugs worked out before the next one. Both boosting and advanced tactics have a lot riding on these changes so they need to get it right for once.

boosting will have a big impact from these games as it will really determine where a person will spend their points.

We definitely need 3 IMO, especially if Bort keeps adding and changing shit every season. Hell, I'm still working on fixing the turnover problems from last season and now we have to deal with penalties and other stuff....the least he can do is give us 3 games.

Thats why we never game plan without a fresh bottle of Texas Pete.

That's why you don't let Dennis Franchione anywhere near your game plan.

HAHAHA, zing!

But as bad as he sucked he was still good enough to beat texas u. twice in a row.

Zing.

This is true, but would you trade those two wins for Texas' success the past 10 years?

The real issue is that he couldn't beat Tech. That is their measuring stick these days.

Tceh is kinda like that annoying retarded cousin that you see once a year at a family reunion. They're a pain in the ass to put up with for one day a year but when you go home you largely forget about them. But if you lose to them in horse shoes they're going to run around and act like they just won the superbowl but then lose to everyone else because they've already won once.

Mobilehoma is that little red headed step-brother than you can't freaking stand that comes into your room and steals all of your shit.

But playing texas is like playing your brother. Lose to him and you hear about it all year and it bugs you to no end.
