Because his team only had 2 pro bowl selects. Sour grapes.

Still waiting to see the Maulers Pro Bowl selection ballot.

How many people did you vote for on your team dan? I would be pretty upset if I had a good year playing for your team and you voted for someone else in the league for the Pro Bowl.

Pete Rose bet on his team, was he just showing 'too much loyalty' ??

I didn't submit our ballot, but I'm sure our GM/owner didn't put anymore then 5, and certainly not 11.

4th quarter might have rigged the ballots anyway, putting 11 of your guys on a ballot is pretty ridiculous. You were better off not submitting like the other 20 teams.

Thanks for joining in on the dog pile.

Riddle me this, Batman... If I swayed the votes so substantially, then how did I only get three probowlers on my team?

If this is such a horrendous atrocity, and the results are complete bullocks, then show me one Clavenhouse player that doesnt belong on that list.

Is it Samuel Colt, who led the entire league in Pancakes?
Was it Osidawale, who led the league in Forced Fumbles and made the leader board in tackles and hurries?
Was is GoodHands WithAlstott, who led the league in TDs?

instead of throwing out random baseless criticisms, how bout we debate the merits of the players that were nominated?

So, now you're saying only 3 of them deserved to make the team? Pretty cool that you voted for 11, then. Let's see some reasons for why the other 8 deserved it. Also, if I remember, your team wasn't even that good last year. It would be different if it was like the KC rams or vikings GM that submitted a ballot with 11 guys. Did you guys even make the playoffs?

How do you know it didn't skew the results? If you had actually researched and voted for the players that were most deserving then maybe somebody more deserving would have mdae it. You said we should debate the merits of the players nominated, and then you only listed the 3 that made it. That pretty much says to me that you know the other guys didn't deserve to make it.

No, he was breaking established rules, if Pete Rose just voted for his player for the All-Star game I don't think anyone would be crying. What exactly did 4th do that was illegal.? PS- Bad comparison.

I'm sure the Maulers were the only team that spent hours calculating just the stats from the 8 games played in this conference and didn't just look at the combined leaderboard since they were so sure about the fairness of the Pro Bowl, right?

For all you know your owner voted for 7 of his own players.

Dont bring up Pete Rose. I still think its BS to not have a player like that in the HOF.

Dan.

Here's the bottom line. I did what research I had time for and voted for 15 guys that were on other teams, about 6 guys on my squad that I thought deserved it, and I filled in 5 spots with guys on my team because I didnt know who to vote for. I put in what time I could and then filled in the blanks.

It's true that had I found another couple hours to finish my research, I would have voted for other people and the results may have changed...but the exact same can be said for all TWENTY teams that didnt submit rosters at all.

I gave it what time i could, and then filled in the blanks. If this isnt good enough for you, then tough shit. When you only have 6 of 16 teams submit ballots, you're not going to get perfect results.

Impressive research.

FB- You had the best HB and he was the FB, so he must be a Pro Bowler? Why not vote for your whole line too? I mean, they blocked for 2 of the top 5 rushers in the league. Might want to do more research because I'm pretty sure that your HB are elusive speed backs and are probably getting 80% of their yards on pitches and outside runs your FB isn't even involved in.

FS- Your free safety had no sacks, only 1 interception and only 2 PDs, but he had a lot of tackles so he's a pro-bowler. That's your research? You look for tackling at a position that is mainly based on coverage?

Newsflash- You guys favored your own team just like everyone else did I'm sure. Just like everyone should, it's the Pro Bowl! If you don't like it, make your own Pro Bowl Poll, put a limit on selections from each team and then cry when only 6 people vote and you don't have enough people to fill out a roster.

This is retarded.

Actually....Jsin Long actually tied with KC's Jock Block with 3 votes each...I put Brock as the Pro Bowler cause looking at the 8 game stats Brock had 93 pancakes and Jsin had 63 pancakes.

Actually 5. Unless we aren't counting the WR on his ballot.

And I don't understand why you posted about the tie between Long and Block other than to prove other people's fears that it wasn't based on votes, it was based on what the vote collector thought.

With only 6 ballots there were bound to be ties. I'm fine with Ts-Rock making the call on those, but I definitely would have liked to see JSin Long in there.

Maybe next year we can have more than just one at each position go to the probowl. That's what they do IRL.

Agreed here, I think we should do a first and second team pro bowl.Have the players with the most votes as the starters and the next best as the backup.Should make this a little more fun and even.

I say who cares, if I've got the best player in the league...I know it. I don't need someone in a forum to tell me.

Last season I thought it would be fun, but I don't know now.

Maybe with most guys playing a full season here it will be easier to tell who the best is.
