Recruiting is very tough this off-season. So many guys that demand you speak to them by PM first, they read your PM and never reply. All of a sudden they have signed to another team! I just find that very rude.

We have a few extra players, a couple of offensive line and a level 21 corner that are coming at the beginning of season 4 as they are people we know and their contracts are running out.

But one thing I have noticed is there are some terrible builds around at the moment. Cornerbacks that have speed of 35 but catching of 40... and they expect to return punts. Are they out of their minds?

That or an o-lineman with 35 strength that wants a 50,000 signing bonus and 110,000 per year with a 1 year contract. Some people are just nuts.

Offseason is a busy time for Owners and GMs. I need to keep an eye on my team, another on yours and another in the market. Damm, I just revealed myself as an alien.

A lot of crazy stuff happens and there are guys who are here for glory, some are here to get money (idk why but I think they have an ego boost when they receive a lot of money so they can show off to their friends) and some are here to have fun. you need to deal with all those and a lot of things are in account.

Your team must be very good. Otherwise you'll suffer a lot because guys don't want to help build a team with you, they want a team that is already winning. You also need money so you can pay some people those huge checks and bonuses since a lot don't think about saving money for the equipments. You need to keep your players alive and always improving. You must follow the changes in the game and adapt accordingly. Ohhh man ... so much to do ...

Good luck to everyone and I hope that we have a great season like last one (specially if we get a playoff berth and win the championship).

That will happen. Sometimes you bring someone in, he's higher level but someone else's build is better for what you want to do or even in all aspects, but that person gets pissed because lvl 16 should start over lvl 15 and things like that.

Pedro Prado is also a DE and guess what ... it's me. The first character lol. I don't play DE thou, but I would love to play it. I'm too tall and not that strong, so I play WR.

Problem I am finding is that players don't want to sign two year contracts. Why on earth should I be forking our 40k for their level 16 equipment when they only want to sign a one year contract?

If I say to them that they are definitely starting for the next two seasons, then they should take me at my word on that.

I gave up trying to find another corner..... no one is interested in coming to an A league team.

I saw one level 24 CB go to be the third corner on an AAA team, instead of being a starter.

I find that a little odd myself, but there we go.

there are plenty of guys in the 13-17 range that you can get. i know its tough.....i had some trouble myself, but its not impossible. dont forget....the lower level guys (8-14) will level up quicker, basically putting them on par with your others by mid-late season.

i had an open FS spot that took me about 30 offers, and 36 hours to fill.

dont get too disconcerted, it'll come to you.

yea its been a rough recruting season. I think I am set for now though and should atleast be as good as last year but have made some improvements. guess we will see.

I still need players. I want to crawl into the fetal position until the start of the season.

What are you talking about? You have one of the best teams in the league.... rated 36 overall. There are teams out there that have existed for one or two more seasons than yours and they are about the same or worse.

I wouldn't worry too much.

We're not going to be very good again this season. Better than last. I'm aiming for four wins this season I think.

All depends how the defensive AI interface works. Maybe play calling actually might count for something this season.

It does man. Don't give up, because if you do so you won't really win. Trust on you and your guys and go heavy for the recruitment. The more you insist on it, higher the chances of you getting someone good.

Well, we have a couple of offensive line players coming start of the season and my level 24 Corner on day 11... until then the team is going to be alright... nothing special.

We knew it was going to be slow for us in the first couple of seasons though... developing out own guys and all. We weren't expecting to come out and win straight away. At least this season they're not going to be blow-outs I hope.

Looks like the league will be a lot more competitive. I dont see anybody pulling away as a championship favor

Yeah, it could be worse. I have signed some good players this year.
