A crucial fumble by THE Ice Man ended the Madden All Stars' longest tenure in the playoffs today as they fell to the Baltimore Kingz, 20-6.
"Honestly, I didn't see him coming, so I couldn't brace myself," said a disappointed THE Ice Man. "I feel like I let my team down, so I'm planning on getting bigger hand implants in the offseason. We'll be back next season. We will be back."
The Madden All Stars finally got their first playoff win against the VEGAS Goodfellas 4 days ago, 22-18, as they relied heavily on placekicker Rafael Septian and THE Ice Man for the score. Meanwhile, the defense never allowed a touchdown in that game, holding the Goodfellas to 6 field goals. Leen Ween received the Airstream Trailer player of the game award, collecting 2 interceptions, 8 tackles, and 7 pass defensed.
Next, the Madden All Stars avenged their regular season loss against the WindyCity Menace by defeating them in another field goal fest, 12-6. Rafael Septian earned the Airstream, as his feet provided the only scoring of the game for the All Stars.
Unfortunately today, Madden was unable to sustain a touchdown scoring drive against Baltimore, amidst rumors that quarterback Rocket Elway spent some vacation time crab fishing in Alaska with The Deadliest Catch crew. Today's Airstream went to Baltimore's Pat Clark, who threw for 295 yards and the only offensive touchdown in the game, along with 3 interceptions.
"They're a good team, and that's why they were ranked first in our conference," explained Rocket Elway. "I'm already looking forward to next season. I think we're ready to take over their spot next year!"
"Meon does not like it when we lose," said Meon Sanders. "But that just means that Meon's will be open 24/7 for the rest of the playoffs! YAYUH!"
As for what the 4th string receiver Terrell Owens had to say:
