Hey guys,

Does losing scrimmage games affect fan base at all?

haven't read anything in particular about that subject. =( I wouldn't *think* so as it allows teams to experiment offense and defense ideas that would be considered highly risky in season games.

I asked my Gm in USA AA#1 to put my TE in a backup RB slot for a game... just to see how it would pan out. He signed off on the idea with no hesitation. Sadly, our running game was slammed that game so it didn't give much information. Previous game he was the starter FB with no backup, and I was happy to see that my TE did well.

I didn't notice any differences but since we lost the playoffs I've been busy wheelin and dealin with players trying to recruit. Not really worried about scrimmage games since they do nothing for us. Yeah I can experiment but I've been doing tactics for 2 full seasons and without advanced tactics there really is only so many options.

I don't think it affects fan base at all, because you don't generate sales of any kind so I don't think the fans go to the game anyways. Plus the scrimmage game after the playoffs don't really count towards your record just like the games before our 8 regular season games.

I found out! It doesnt affect your fan base, but your streak going into next season could help or hurt your fan base. So if you go in losing all 4 scrimmages, it could be bad, but if you only go in with a 1 game losing streak you should be fine.

A The scrimmage games do not directly effect fan support but the streak you end on will be carried over into next season. Playoff games ARE do effect fan support as normal.
