What part of Canada did you visit?

I was near Sarnia. I went camping at Paradise Valley near Forest and Grand Bend.. i also seen Kettle point and its Indian Reservation. It wasn't all bad but some of the highly priced things and the fact that i had to find a special store to purchase alcohol kinda sucked

Yeah, booze/tobacco is really expensive in Canada.

Cigs were 25 in a pack but 9 dollars for a pack... i don't smoke but good thing we stopped at the duty free on the way over the border.... my Step Dad grabbed 2 cartons of Marlboro for 27 bucks a carton....

You should try Alaska...I had a 'net buddy a few years back from near Anchorage and he said Milk was almost $10.00 per gallon haha...incredible. Supply and Demand ladies and gents.

Sheesh, and i thought we have it rough here in NZ.
Although, most of our technology related goods are around 2.5x the price of US prices.
