I know how it normally works, as in who goes up and who goes down. My questions was in our league are the only new teams we have going to be the teams that move down?

If thats the case do more teams get bumped down?

the winners of each conference will move up and 2 of the worst teams record wise from AA will come down that's it. unless they do this massive restructure bs then anythings possible.

Ok I was just curious if we were going to have to worry about any new ringer team coming in from some other place.

Essentially number 15 and 16 teams from the AA league will move down and the winner of Alpah and winner of Zeta will move up.

That is 4 teams that leave. Who are the new teams that come in? Where will they come from? Are they AA teams from Western Europe? Or AA teams from anywhere; aka USA, Canada, etc...

I believe the number 16 teams from each conference above us come down, and the winners of the Alpha and Zeta tournaments will move up. I have no idea where our 16th place teams go.

would assume they stay as there is no lower league and even if they create one they wouldnt have a season to move up the top 2 teams

They'll come from AA #4. Click the "Leagues" link in the top navbar to see the hierarchy.

Interesting... I never noticed the hierarchy until now. But it doesn't make sense.

For instance... AA#4 has 32 teams.
2 will move up.
2 will move down.

For this example, lets just look at the 2 teams who will move down from WEAA#4.

Team 1 = Recklinghausen Chargers @ 0-16.
Team 2 = Barcelona Blaze @ 0-16.

Below WEAA#4 are WEA#7 and WEA#8

The problem I see is that WEAA#4 is only sending down two teams. But getting the top two teams from WEA#7 and WEA#8. That is a total of 4 teams WEAA#4 would be adding... Making WEA#4 whole with 32 teams again.

But the problem is... Only two teams are being sent down. Where would the two teams - the Chargers and the Blaze go? WEA#7 or WEA#8?

If WEA#7 and WEA#8 are sending two teams up and sending two teams down (still don't know where the teams would be sent since there is no BBB league in WE)...Wouldn't they be receiving less teams? Therefore only having 31 (if no teams are sent down from AA#7 or AA#8) or 29 (if they send two up and two down and only get 1 back).

There has to be a better explanation somewhere on GLB?

the bottom 2 from each of those conferences is relegated, i believe. Instead of just the last-place finisher.

i have asked one of the moderators about this. i'll post here when i get an answer

4 teams total will come down from aa 4. 2 to wea 7 and 2 to wea 8. what determines what conference gets which of the 4 teams is beyond me i havent been able to distinguish the determining factor for it.

They send 2 down from each conference, so 4 total. The Law of Conservation of Teams is not violated. :-)
