I didn't send in any votes. Without having watched every game last season, I'm not sure I could really make an informed choice. I could vote for the guys on my team, and the good players on the team we played, but that seems kind of lame.

I Didn't watch the game film but I looked at each player and compared the season stats and looked at who performed best overall. Just because 1 guy may have had 150 tackles wasn't enough if another guy had 75 tackles, 4 INTs, 3 FFs then comparing the 2 the guy who did more got my vote over the guy who just had high tackles. might not be the best way to decide but that is the method I used.

I sent in my ballot. Didn't base it on stats alone but looked at the teams success and also player levels. I think felixtovar's team that he put up would have been pretty close.

I think you need to pipe down and take a seat. What's lame is you giving me shit when I was the only with the sand to fess up to not sending in a ballot. There are plenty of other outlets for you to acquire the mock status, attention, and affirmation you desire. This isn't the end of the world for you.

The point is that almost no one sent in a ballot. I could have finished it, but felt like taking an off season break and get some good madden playing in. What's the point when less then ten people voted. I wanted to do this, but felt leaving it to all my opinion was too biased. There were a lot of great players out there, and I would like to congratulate everyone on a good first season. I'm sorry I didn't finish it. I guess it is just to damn hard to do one of these

Wow man, chill. I know it's hard to see the emotion involved by just reading type, but I'm pretty sure my nonchalance about the whole process was easy to see in the words and the manner I used them in. The way I used "a fun way" and "lame" instead of "should have" or "stupid" should let you know that I was just trying to get people to stay interested in the game, not to berate you personally.

As for the 'acquisition of status, attention, and affirmation' I don't think you ever saw any of our games. My players and team were not of any caliber to deserve any of those 'best player' awards. So the 'status, attention, and affirmation' you think I desire was not for me or my players, but for the rest of the league and their players. Just because we both own teams does not mean that everyone with players in this league does too. You forget that a vast majority of people playing do not own a team, and albeit arbitrary, this recognition by the rest of the league would've been well deserved to those that have only players in this league.
