I think teams are going to have to ask themselves just how WORTH it it is to spend that much money on what amounts to +4 SPs. That really is a pretty minimal advancement for $200k.

In my mind there are a lot better things to spend the money on and it makes more financial sense to give people higher daily salaries and let them train on relaxed and save the money rather than blowing a huge chunk of money for +4.

I dunno, bud. At higher lvls, +4 is essentially equal to 1 lvl. If you outlvled your opponent across the board by 1 lvl, you'd have to like your chances.

Not to mention that, in a league where the margin for error is small, 4pts is pretty significant.

True. Hopefully our guys will have quite a bit of the money already saved. We extended contracts and boosted salaries with a bonus to everyone at the beginning of this season.

And in regards to playoff tickets.... apparently 2.5x expected amounts wasn't enough.
We sold out our tickets tonight for a cool $2,083,000. Guess I should have tried 3x expected the first night. Oh well, still have concessions to rake in as well.

Thanks. Just glad to be out of patrol. In the traffic division, night shift DWI Enforcement Unit. Got my 52nd and 53rd DWIs for the year tonight. Some nights it's just too easy in this town.
