My arithmetic (always sketchy) says it was 10-6 Elephant, not 11-5.

Average score was 20-15 Elephant -- reasonably close.

Those Ridgebacks look tough.

Well, the top four teams from each conference won which basically tells me we are gonna have an EXCITING playoff season!

These inter-conference games are tough to measure since it's very easy for a conference to get favorable match-ups and win despite being the weaker conference.

For example, if Elephant #1 played Lion #5, #2 played #6 and on down...Elephant would have a significant edge in 12 games, while Lion would only have 4 favorable match-ups.

In this case, Elephant was favored in 6 match-ups (going by seedings) and won all seven. It was a push in three games, and Elephant won two of the three. Lion was favored in 7 games and Elephant won two of those for a 10-6 Elephant victory.

The difference makers were the Madagascar/West Nile tilt and the Calurnet/Morningside battle both of which Elephant won.

I'm not ready to say that Elephant kicked Lion ass just because our 12 beat Lion's 11 and our 13 beat Lions 12. That would be kinda silly!
