Ya well, we are like...um..5 levels below everyone on the average? Kinda expected this to be like this all season. Hopefully we can move down a league and play people our level instead of peeps 3-6 levels above us all season.

Hell that game we averaged level 12.45 and they were 16.45...4 freakin levels below em =/

Trazer, if you guys have fun, it doesn't matter. GLB is a game and yes, it's nice to win, but it should be fun regardless of what happens. Unfortunately, there will be no moving down a league for African AA teams. There is nothing below AA and if they expand, they won't allow demotions. While four levels seems like a large gap, having good builds and a game plan means more than anything. With what happened, I would worry that there's more than just low levels going on.

To many deep pass attempts is my guess, we have some good dline players. But fear not, you'll close the gap on levels as the higher level guys slow down, plus with recruiting I am sure things will be much differant next time around.

I'll agree with Pike. It's fun to win but we've lost 2 in a row and I'm not about to jump out of a window. The most fun parts of this game are my team's forum to me. We have jokes thread, and are starting a Fantasy Football forum. The Ws will come if you can keep your team together and work together. You guys are low level now but you bring in a couple guys and keep your core together, and you'll have a good team.

Ya im still havin fun, i became the def coordinator about 5-6 games ago..and while we still got smashed it went a tad better, and i know by then most of the guys were just playing on relaxed just to get more plays in for the xp.

Tomorrows game we average about..oh 7-8 levels below them, thats gonna suck..ill be happy if we hold em below 65 or so. Im tryin different stuff each week to see what works best for our team setup, but being new to this its difficult having to learn it on my own w/o a former coach to learn from.

Its coo though..the guys still seem to have fun with it.

NO drop down of a league though kinda sux bad..we were kinda bankin on that at least to give us a chance next season, oh well..we will find a way to beat someone next season..i promise that.

Just my opinion but since your options as DC are so limited right now, i think you should just make sure everyone's builds are complimentary and efficient. I'm a fairly new DC on a crapity team also and I spent the first 2 games getting everyone on the same page with individual tactics and builds. Renegotiated contracts to redistribute equip. and whatnot. Instead of getting blown out by 50 points, we almost won one game against a bunch of guys 5+lvls above us and have kept scores somewhat respectable. So many crappy builds out there, if you can get your personnel to build good players that are complimentary, that can overcome a lot.

The only way to be a leader is to be a leader who convinces their team of a future and a damn good time spent. We can all do that including you, make being a bull, something special.

Trzer, I know it's tough being a new team esp. with no experience. I know that my guys have been helped a lot by our GMs. What I'd advise to you is to troll the forums a bit and PM some of the more experienced players. Pick their brain a bit. A lot of people are willing to give a lot of information if you just ask. Like I said, you guys are improving and while it might suck now, the leagues will even out sooner or later, and the best teams will move up and the bad ones will stay at the bottom and the competition will even out. There are terrible Pro and AAA teams, so at least you guys are in the right league. It will just take some time for it to sort itself out but if you stick with it, you'll reap the rewards.

There are a lot of knowledgeable people in GLB if you know where to look and can get the right feel for people. I've participated in GLB radio in an attempt to help spread the understandings I've developed in GLB to the general populace, but with all due respect I couldn't do so for a potential competitor.

The point is, there's a LOT of information out there and pretty much all of it is reasonable. There are also a lot of people who can help out and are willing to - you just have to find the right people and make sure they're the right one.

And just for the record, everyone on the team believes that trazer is doing a great job. Heck, even the offense guys (like me).
If anything, it's the players that fail to implement his strategies for the matches. (Like that whole playing on relaxed thing...)

If the guys won't listen all the work of the OC/DC can't help much. But I'm sure the owner is working on sorting that out.

Ya ive already started to ask certain positions to try to focus more in specific areas of their build. IE i want xxx player to get more vision, yyy players to work heavy on speed and zzz players to just be the strongest guys in the game so with blah blah focused on these SA's. But even to my team im fairly new and its not easy for people im sure to have some guy they just met tellin em how to build their character. I dont ask for specific numbers though just general areas to work on.

But all i can do is ask..in the end these guys are here to have fun with what THEY want.
