Pancakes drain a lineman's energy and morale so while it isn't the be-all-end-all, it is nice to be able to do it.

then how come my lv 18 OT gets more pancakes playing LT than RT? hes jacked and has good blocking, vision, and stamina. and speed, good agility.

Because most REs have lower strength than LEs, so they are easier to pancake. It's also easier to let them get around you for a shot at the QB because they are typically faster.

Did anyone ever notice that the teams with the most pancakes are at the top of their league and the teams with the least are at the bottom. Probably because they also have the best/worst O-lines but the effect on morale and energy can't be overlooked.

I have the two starting OG for my team and I definitely screwed up putting points into pancakes. Our HB has his strength up to 64 and is trying to bowl people over, but his speed is seriously suffering. My RG is pretty good and I've seen him knock down two players on one play, but while he's killing the LB, the DT has gotten up and tackled the HB whose just gotten to the line of scrimmage. Big time morale killer...

Is there any way that I can get them to choose not to pancake (since I can't take out the points)? Their vision's only at 27 each, crank that up?

I'd say that a lot of pancakes is a good thing, but a lack of pancakes isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Well personally I don't think pancakes are overrated, as although we played a weaker team in one game our team had 389 total pancakes which led to our team having 0 sacks, 510 rushing yards with one RB scoring 10 TDs.

Your team would have dominated that other team with 0 pancakes... Using a blowout as an example for anything is a bad idea.

I have a center who is great at getting pancakes but not just that, he almost never allows a sack or hurry. 4 sacks in the 3rd season

4 sacks in a season is kind of a lot >_>. I obviously don't play C, but I've allowed 1 sack over all three seasons.

Well, truth be told, if D-lineman are getting up so quickly and frequently after a Pancake, then there is something wrong with Pancakes that needs to be fixed in this game.

Going from personal experiences when I was a freshman, when I got layed out by a bigger man, I was out of the play for at least a couple of seconds. Not to say that it happened all too often, but when it did, ouch.
