we appreciate the kind words guy.
it's tough. we know we're a better team than our record indicates, but we can't get a break.
part of that, imho, is the fact that i believe the deck is stacked against teams that aren't winning. despite what bort says, i think chemistry and morale issues play much bigger roles than we've been lead on.
our turnover rate is extremely high, and the more we lose, the harder it is to move the ball. and for all the random Awooga comments, trust me, we try to get the ball in his hands as often as possible, but the AI doesn't seem to allow it.

Yea I think morale and chemistry cost us some close games this year and I also believe it plays a larger role than I gave it credit for.

I agree with this too. We were playing a good bit better at the beggining of the season, but have taken big chemistry hits to try and improve our team and big morale hits as the losses have piled up. We now aren't even remotely competitive and are playing "name the score" against every opponent. At least next season we'll get a morale fix and knocked down to BBB. The more we lose, the worse we play. This isn't ahole we'll dig ourselves out of this year though we'll keep gameplanning and trying.

Yeah sorry about shitting on you guys for awooga - you have kept your heads up in a tough situation. You managed to get him almost 30 carries against Waco, so whatever you did in that game I'm sure you could continue and things might improve - but what you say about chemistry and such is true. It is an especially large effect now that a lot of the teams with settle rosters have 100 chemistry, so you see a more noticable deficit.

lol. the reason he got 30 carries against Waco is because we were doing what we could to NOT lose by 100 points. and running the ball up the gut was a big part of that.
and, by god, it worked. by three points.
i will say this - we celebrated the fact that we actually won the turnover battle against you guys. it was a huge moral victory to beat y'all 4-3 in turnovers. lol
but, it has been a brutal season. still, we're not giving up, and if we get relegated, we're going to be back. i promise you.
