That is closer to a solution I feel then only increasing a cap 3 levels. There will always be those teams that recruit better, put more into team, are better group of guys or owners that free agents want to play for or current players want to resign with. I totally get that and love that part of GLB. With my idea or this idea (just some way to balance things out a bit) before moving forward makes more sense to me.

Meaning I understand the loyalty thing and with levels from the season and boosting (those that do) the players that were 13 and boosted at end of season or during to 16, etc and earned there way to level 18-21 range should not get outmatched by level 25 players but when you say a level 16 cap I feel that is too low. Maybe the disagreement is the level each league should be. If you are saying the A league should be a certain level and not look like Pro League then what levels would that look like?
It is rather hard to pin point what the levels of each division should as is the case with our league we have alot of players in the 18-21 range after the full season so it would be unfair to have the cap level increase to merely 16 as that would cause the teams that don't get promote to void out most of their contracts and recruit all over again. It's a fine line because you want to keep it competitive for as many teams as you can so you want a cap but you can't make it too low and you lose out on alot of players already established in the league and too high and you end up letting everyone in the league. I almost think the cap should continue to rise the same amount as the players in the league do so that a lvl 13 player who was able to boost and play his way to level 21 sets the new cap for the next season.

Besides that, as any experienced agent can tell you, it's not the level of the player that makes the difference, it's how the player is built, and how the AI is ran. Thats why player caps wont ever bring parity or an even playing field for all teams in said league.

How about having more teams move up or down each season? Say the top 8 teams move up and bottom 8 move down this season, next season only the top 4... Top teams float to the top quicker, and give bottom teams a better chance to compete. It's all about competition, right?

Disagree. The division winners and no more should move up. If you start taking out half the playoff teams then you're losing some of the good rivalries we've built up this year. I for one hope my teams wins and advances but if we don't win our division then I'm looking forward to round 2 with many of these great teams.

But if you move up would you not move up together? However moving 8 teams is a bit much also. I still say the full realignment with implementation of level caps per level of play and also the winner move up and worst team move down. All three options combined is the solution.
