Sup old timers. Just passing through and saw its off-season. Got a boatload of flex and 4 free players. Thinking of building a couple. Any big changes in last 15 -20 season on players building?

Like drew said building is pretty much the same, just faster.

We've missed Charlestown being in the Casual Mix for far too long.

WELCOME BACK.....yes, lots of changes per Drew's post, but still very similar, just faster building where you have to pay attention pretty much daily. Still well worth it IMO as 4 seasons of building followed by 7 seasons of plateau beats the old seeming eternity to hit plateau. Hope you stick around, learn the new stuff and continue.....

I got a response on my GLB main post that indicates boosting before the season rollover is bad for building (like we used to boost 1 to 4? Do people still boost to level 6 before new season starts? I just built a dot for now and did boost to level 6 before yesterday ended. Going to decide if I want to reboot the Chiefs, or just build for someone else's reboot next off-season. For now, I'll just play around with that dot and see what I can come up with on my own

You can retire and rebuild new players with no penalty and full flex refund (less maybe CEQ) til d0, I'm pretty sure. I think most of us "slow build" meaning no creation season boosting and then either selectively boost to hit important caps over the course of the season or wait til season end to do all that seasons 5 boosts. By then not boosting the creation season you will then have those 5 boosts available at plateau.
