it's a little more to it than that 007. check the circumstance around the punt. 4th down 4th quarter. losing. 51 seconds on the clock. just outside of the RedZone. no chance to get the ball back. punt isn't the right call. the call should have come from the 2 minute warning package. I have to find why my offense dropped the 2 minute offense to punt

did you run the test? you can test the exact scenario and see what input it pulls. did you have any timeouts left

it finally hit me last night on a stop gap ** hopefully ** I added a 4th down input in the 4th quarter that covers that senario. putting it in the quarter should over ride what I have above. I still need to find the mistake but this should work ** hopefully ** until I do. yeah I had timeouts but I also have QB spike inputs after timeouts are burned so I should have been good in that respect. Testing ? where were you when I needed you bro ? no didn't think to test BEFORE adding the stop gap but now it tests out right with the input I added so thanks for the suggestion. I think I may have things too intricate that it's become confusing

yeah i'll be cpu except for a couple of test builds. you know I was starting to think that maybe it was just as you say. maybe nothing was wrong maybe it was just the sim being the sim. you know how sometimes you'll get a play called that's not in your package or you'll get a QB run with your PQB then go look at the package thinking you made a mistake and it turns out you loaded the package right ? I wish I would have thought to test it like 007 said before the change

FOUND IT ! funny thing is it wasn't as complex as I was making it. I had the punt input in the all quarters section with no stipulations other than it being 4th down and the area of the field I wanted to punt. That meant every other 4th down input had to be right in order for it to be flawless. without the time and the score sections filled my OAI never considered the outcome of the game. just thought I would share in case someone else had an AI issue similar to this at some point

Funny! Had that exact thing mess with my Special Teams last season, temp fixed it and my AI is still a mess and needs 4th down plays redone.

It ain't hard to mess up OAI bro trust me. Even checking and double checking can still miss some things
