If I'm tied with a team for the final playoff spot what are the tie breakers?
This is how I'm reading it...

To determine the winner of a tie within a Conference the following Tiebreakers go into effect:

If there are only 2 teams tied (same record), higher seed is the winner of the head-to-head match up.
If there are more than 2 teams tied (same record), then it's based upon these factor in this order:
Number of head-to-head wins against the other tied teams with the same record.
Number of total points allowed.
Number of total points scored.

If it is a 1-1 record split with one team is it points allowed and scored in the 2 games against the team I'm tied with or points allowed and scored over the league season?

I am assuming it's vs the team I'm tied with. Correct?

Points allowedly by each team for the whole season, not points allowed in the head to head match up.

so if the number of points allowed is the same it goes to the next tie breaker of points scored correct? Not the point differential.

I would guess so but highly unlikely 2 teams give up the same exact points for the whole season. Also one game left yet.

Those were written years ago, before the reformation.

Teams used to only play each other once per season, when there were 8 teams per division.

There was one random out of division game week 1 to make a 16 week season.

Now, if there's a tie...

#1 did a team win both head to head games?
#2 the team with the best defense on the season based on Points Allowed, the bottom stat on the Match up screen

#3 in the unlikely event the teams are still tied, it would be Points Scored on that same screen

Same rules still applies. Nothing changed since then.

Lambeau...they allowed 3 less pts than Tombstone. Head to head was 1-1.
