I've been debating on whether it's appropriate to post this in public. I think enough time has passed.

I don't believe Bill would want this lost in some unused forum, never to be seen again.

This is first time doing a loom video so cut me some slack

As far as I know, this is the only GLB screen capture of creating a player.

This one is for an elusive HB, but the concepts can be applied to almost any build or position.

For example: You'd just do maximum weight for a Strength first dot, instead of minimum weight for a Speed first dot.

It shows a good process of training and buying enhancements, plus what, where, and when to click on your screen.

It shows how to manually train and then how to set up auto training.

This thread kind of reminded me.

I haven't been here since (around) s20. How do I buy the enhancement?

Please and thank you.

He stumbles over the jargon a bit, but does correct himself. It was just nerves when trying to explain this process out loud.

Eventually, when you've done it hundreds or thousands of times, like some of us have, it doesn't require much thought. It's actually harder when you try to slow down and explain it.

With all due respect to the creator of the video, there is so much wrong with this build process. Unless you're going for 170 on an attribute, don't do any of this. And even if you're going for 170, don't do this lol. What a waste of early ALGs, training, and bonus tokens. Training in the valleys, and at level 1!!! Honestly, there isn't anything I found correct in this video.

I know a lot of people build this way, but I promise you, you're losing out on 100+ skill points in the end - bare minimum.
General rules (especially at level1)

- Avoid training in the valleys, especially at level 1!

- Avoid training on intense - ALWAYS. It has in most cases the least value of all trainings in relation to % gains and bonus tokens.

Do you have something written or even a video for new players then? I think TJ is just spreading a video that was in a PF that VC created before he passed to help people. However, if you have a better strategy for both 3 AEQ and 4 AEQ dots it would be good to put here so then the new players have an option and can experiment themselves to find out what works better for them. I also had access to that PF and video as I did work with VC at times.

Yeah, I've written what I do to start with a dot to start several times. I've put what I do a lot of places but since it's vastly different people are scared to try it. Statistically there is not a better way to start a dot than this. This is why I'm still interested in the game. Everyone thinks we have pretty much tapped this game out, cause we all build the same players. I can assure you, there is still a ton of room for improvement in this game because even the best teams are building their dots wrong.

Normal Build:

Day 0:

Light Train (LT) A1 x4

Enable Multi Training (MT) for A2, A3, A4

MT A1, A2, A3, & A4 x1

Upgrade A1 Training x1

MT A1, A2, A3, & A4 x1

Upgrade A1 Training x1 (2 Total)

MT A1, A2, A3, & A4 x1

Upgrade A1 Training x1 (3 Total)

MT A1, A2, A3, & A4 x1

Upgrade A2 & A3 Training x1 (1 Total each)

MT A1, A2, A3, & A4 x1

Upgrade A2 Training x1 (2 Total)

MT A1, A2, A3, & A4 x1

Upgrade A3 Training x1 (2 Total)

Extreme Build (170+)

Day 0:

Upgrade A1 Training x1
Normal Train (NT) A1 x 2
Upgrade A1 Training x1 (2 Total)
NT A1 x 4
Upgrade A1 Training x1 (3 Total)
NT A1 x 6
Upgrade A1 Training x1 (4 Total)
NT A1 x 6
Assign 15 Skill Points to A1 (49 Total)
NT A1 x 2
Upgrade A1 Training x1 (5 Total)
NT A1 x 7 (Stop with 2 Training Points - A1 should be around 51 and 80%+)
Enhance Multi Training (MT) for A2 & A3

Training Rules:

Only multi train in these numbers. 0 - 33 49 - 51, 61 - 62, 68 - 70, 78+
Only light train in these numbrs. 0 - 20 & 90 - 94

YOu do not need to light train at all for 3 pieces of AEQ. If you would like 4 pieces light train for about one season. Mix it in and don't do it by a timeline but rather when your A1 hits 90 - 94 or at the end of the build when you can light train an attribute that doesn't have ALGs. (Example: Strength for a WR).

Enhance MT A2, A3, A4, and A5
Upgrade all attributes that you will train x2. For A1 if you plan on light training it for 4 pieces you'll need to upgrade A1 x3.

Fwiw, Trained professional builders can probably figure out what you're talking about. I read it a couple times and believe I could follow that.

The value of the video is that it actually shows, as in -- on screen clicking in real time -- where to buy the Upgrade and MT you're talking about.

Everyone and their grandmother has typed out a wall of text about a player build, at some point in time. I'm probably more guilty than most.

It's different when you can see it, hear it, pause it and rewind it as necessary.

This video isn't designed to build the ultimate dot in the universe. It's designed to take a brand new, or returning player from 0 to competent.

Fantasy football season is here again. There's bound to be new players that stumble onto this site by accident. It takes a very specific kind of mental illness to actually stick around long enough to learn the game.

lol, I completely agree with you. I've always struggled reading other peoples explanations as well and it usually takes me a few times to fully grasp it. I'm a more of a hands on type of person. Maybe someday I'll create one.

I’ve tested just about every build technique out there early boosting, late boosting, hybrids, you name it and mixing established strategies with my own twists. If it’s been posted, I’ve tried it. While I’m still chasing the truly mathematically perfect dot, I’m getting close. I feel like I have the first 3 seasons figured out now.

My mental illness with this game is a I couldn't care less about the football aspect of it, I'm here for the math baby. Yes, I'm aware of virtual scripts taht could save me time and money, but where's the joy in that?

I'm actually working on proving this on some future builds. It may not be much now but that 8 points already and more bonus tokens.

I’ve always been confused on stamina. Is that the right way?

I’ve seen all the videos of venom’s process. The ones he’s recorded anyway. There are more out there that explain the rest of season 1

Just as a comment on Venom and STAM...Alot of agents I co-orded for will know I was always one of those 2nd Cap to 62 STAM guys whereas Venom usually aimed at mid 50s

Add this to the Math approach and/or new old circuit etc etc etc and alot depends on where you want the points to be..... what you can hide or get away with on a less important (to that build) with

One of the first and definitely the best advice I ever received was from Pringles....Make your build plan.....Get drunk and look at it again....When sober re-check and alter as necessary .... And then stick to it !!!!!

And no matter how good remember that a 170 str 100 tack DT with elvs of 1900 and 4 AEQ and SAs hanging out of his strides (trousers) is still going to miss tackle after tackle until you hate his blobby ass so much you chage his name to Useless O'Useless the Master of the Missed Tackle. Then you trade him to a decent dc and he/she becomes all world !!!!
