What sucks is that you've came back to the game a couple of months ago and are a little behind on the build process. It's changed since you originally learned and since season 99 it's changed again to an accelerated build process. There are no scripts that build dots for you, but if you can log in every day or every other day, you can learn to build really good players.

Mauler is offering you a chance to learn a better way to build players so if you are wanting to get better at building players you should join up.

Okay, tell you what. I'll retire my trash FS and create a dot for your new team. You pick the position and archetype. I'll log in every day and do exactly what you tell me. You tell me what to train, where to put my SPs etc and I'll do it. If you can show me how to build a great player then let's do it.

Tell me what you want to create and I will work with you to create the dot, etc. I will invite you to the SWAT private forum.

Thanks

I don't think anyone called your FS trash. I Think you built him to the best of your knowledge since coming back. Building players has changed since you last built. Again Mauler is offering you a spot on his rookie team where you can learn to build better players if that's what you want. Good Luck and I hope you take him up on his offer!

Mauler has helped me a bunch I'd jump at the opportunity to learn from a player like them, for what its worth

It seems I've misjudged the tone of the original reply. I've seen done rather condescending posts on the GLB forums regarding dot building, and it can be pretty off putting. But if your team genuinely fosters an environment that's friendly to small agents and noobs, them I'm all on board.

Mauler is definitely being genuine and I'd advise anyone, returning or experienced to take him up on an offer to help you build solid dots.
He will certainly help.

Sadly none of the 3 players I have available (their current team is folding and they'll be free agents tomorrow) are at positions you need.

SWAT will always be a Rookie team(Reset's every Season) to help dots first starting out when/if needed so you can always retire those players. That's up to you so let me know.

Thanks!

Yeah, it’s just the way it works here. And it’s super easy to build trash dots. But you will make a “good” dot if you follow the help from these guys. Maybe not the first go around, but hell, a year from now you’ll be building “a little better than good” dots. And so the carrot on the stick chase begins.
