Streaky has been horrible since the nerf. Even the name is pointless.

Why would you risk a playoff game on a 50/50 coin toss? It's not like you can deactivate it. Once you have it you're stuck with it, ride or die, for a whole season.

By definition a 50/50 shot isn't streaky anyway.

statistically, with 15 points in it, it is +6% on good days, -3% on bad

so if it truly is 50/50, over 16 games you have 8 x 6% - 8 x 3% = a net +24% over the course of a season, but for an individual game it could go bad

Bad math. It's net +3% over the course of a season.

Though fwiw I don't advocate for streaky as a useful SA. I tried it on some ultra speed guys and oddly wasn't able to clock the +6% /-3% days with the speed script, so I'm actually a little unsure of how it's working.

Sorry bro, your math is wrong, reddog breaks it down correctly. If you get a 50/50 good/bad split for a season, you'll have gained an overall benefit of 24% for the season.

It averages to +1.5% per game (agreed I was incorrect at 3%)

However saying 24% is like saying football genius gives +120% vision over the regular season. It's nonsensical to add together the bonuses from each game.

I pretty much agree with you that, if we could know which games were which for certain, that would be the way everyone would talk about it, no one would deal in theoretical averages..Also, personally, I wouldn't touch Streaky with a 10-foot pole either. I just couldn't let a glib comment about someone else being wrong, that was wrong, go by.

I actually agree with Wise

If an attribute is 100 base (for easy math), it will never actually be 100 in game. It'll be 97 or 106. That's a 9% swing.

97+106= 203. Average that, it's a net 101.5 or 1.5%

IMO, 1.5% 8 times is still 101.5 eight times, not 112

This is one dot in isolation. If multiple dots on the same team had it, they'd statistically cancel each other out every individual game. Half of the affected dots would be at 97, the other half at 106. It's a 1.5%% net, that you have no control over.
