Probably 1/3 of the pass plays are custom and don't seem too bad after I shortened the route length inputs. Will definitely look at the TE Clearout. Probably going to do more of the standard passing plays and just write the bad ones off as I see them for the team build. I'm wondering how effective custom checkdowns can be as well. Nuts how much we can get into the weeds here, I love it.
I got whooped at the pee wee level. All the AEQ, SAs, and VAs I'll have to learn again when I get there. My first season back after 10 years. Bought a Rookie team and a couple of Pee Wee teams, recognized some peeps and have been asking questions here and there. Gonna add you to that list of peeps lol
I was beat up today at the dot build game I think... but think as the dots grow later into the first season it'll probably be ok. Enough to keep coming back for more punishment anyway. Pee Wee is built so different than Rookie teams I'm assuming so it'll be fun to switch modes when I plan for the Rookie team. You'll be whoopin me soon enough, I think we're in the same conference even. I imagine that I'll see how far the team can be "competitive", maybe restart after 4 seasons when the agents can join real teams and then I'll start new dots with lessons learned.
I tell you what though, I'm saving everything you just put on the table there. I wasn't aware of the equipment info you just shared. Or about Confidence.
Thank you for that info, zz!
EDIT: yeah, week 5 and 14 the Sharp Dressed Men vs Tombstone Hooligans - I'll have two notepads ready when I watch those replays. I realize you pro dot builders really are just building for the future, the real end game so I'm not seeing what I'll really end up seeing. Educational either way for me though. Hardest thing for me is to have the discipline to build for the same end goal, so tempted to "if I just had a bit more AGI secondary on my low level dot, I bet i can win more *now* as I "try hard" even at Rookie level
Rookie is a great place to get back into the feel of the game and most will tell you that its all about getting the player builds "right" but its also a great place to start trying stuff out ... Im running an old DAI as Im trying to build a new thing for me with a zone defense...Inspired by Nexills HPM team... so at the least I can use that as an excuse thru til Pro !!!
