Well hopefully I get in position to make another run at it. Alpha division is tough going. The whole league is pretty even to be fair.

Ghost League Week 6
It was another interesting week in Ghost league.
Cornhuskers vs Bulldogs
The Huskers picked up win #5 this week by blanking the Bulldogs 58-0. Gabe Ervin JR was the man in this one running for 249 yds and 3 scores in the blowout. The Huskers are looking good as they now sit alone at the top of the Alpha Division.
Vagrant Murder Hobos vs Groundhogs
Both teams put up their best effort this week in a close one that saw the Groundhogs come away with a 1 point victory over the Hobos. John Deere did the damage for the Groundhogs throwing for 348 yds and 3 scores in a game that saw Cough Syrup Addict Niedermeyer tally up 285 total yds and 3 scores for the Hobos. Close game and a hard loss for the Vagrant Murder Hobos.
Run Tag Me Bitches vs Eugene Stunners
No shocker here as Run Tag Me Bitches picks up their 4th win of the season in a 47-0 stunning of the Stunners. There was no stopping Run Tag Me HB Medium in this one as he tallied 353 total yds and 4 score in the win.
Gods of Metal vs Chameleons
It was another good win for the Gods of Metal this week as they knocked off the Chameleons in a close one 20-17. Credit to the defense in this one as they kept the game close all the way to the last FG.
B.A.S.S. Nation vs Flames
The Nation continued there ghostly reign of terror this week as they came away with a 62-0 win against the flames. No shocker in this one as Kevin VanDam led the way again with 403 total yrds and 4 scores. Can anyone beat this team???
Evil Monkeys vs Sooners
The Evil Monkeys are starting to look good again after starting the season off slow and come away with a decisive victory over the Sooners 45-3. Marcus Fleet came away with game MVP as he ran for 94 yds and 2 TDs while Lombardi did the work passing for 354 yds and 2 scores of his own. Could we be seeing the Evil Monkey revival??

Week 8 Mixed with week 7 results.
Stunners vs Flames
The Stunners hosted the Flames this week in a game between the 0-7's. Last week saw the Stunners lose to the South Beach Bulldogs 38-0 as the Bulldogs picked up their first win of the season. The Flames came into this one after losing in a blowout to the Cornhuskers 48-0. But someone was coming out their losing ways in this one and it just happened to be the Stunners in a 19-0 blanking of the Flames in Stunner territory. Geoff Hough managed to get offensive player awards leading his team to their first win of the season with 54 yds and a score on the ground.
Cornhuskers vs B.A.S.S. Nation
The Huskers hosted the undefeated B.A.S.S. Nation this week after a 48-0 beat down of the Flames in week 7. B.A.S.S. Nation came into Husker territory on a roll as they defeated Run Tag Me 48-10 in week 7. Week 8's Game of the week had the powerhouses face off in a battle that saw the Nation come away with another victory 31-14. Gary Yamamoto was the surprise offensive MVP in this one as he tallied up 108 total yrds and 3 score for the Nation in the win.
Groudhogs vs Evil Monkeys
The Groundhogs hosted the Monkeys coming off a win over the Sooners in week 7 31-24 while the Evil Monkeys were coming off a loss to the Gods of Metal 17-3. The week 8 matchup between playoff hopefuls was a good one that saw the Monkeys come away with a 38-24 win in Groundhog territory. Lombardi continued his fine season in this on throwing for 373 yds and 4 scores in the Evil Monkeys win.
Chameleons vs Sooners
Both teams were coming off of losses this week as week 7 saw the Chameleons fall to the Vagrant Murder Hobos 31-10 and the Sooners fall to the Groudnhogs 31-24. In another good battle for week 8 the Chameleons came away with a 27-17 win at home over the Sooners. It was all about Barry Sanders in this one as he came away with 237 total yds and a receiving td in the win.
Run Tag Me vs Bulldogs
Run Tag Me hosted the Bulldogs after dropping week 7's game to the Nation 48-10 and the Bulldogs came into it after getting their first win of the season over the Stunners 38-0. Run Tag Me came out swinging this week after last week loss and jumped on the Bulldogs 49-7. Run Tag Me Medium just would not be stopped against the Stunner putting up 307 total yds and 6 TD's.
Gods of Metal vs Murder Hobos
The Gods of Metal came into this week 8 after a week 7 win over the Evil Monkeys 17-3. The Murder Hobos came into week 8 after a convincing win over the Chameleons in week 7 31-10. It was all Gods of Metal in this one as the Metal Curtain stayed in the Hobo backfield all day, but is was Ismael YBarra supplying the damage for the Gods throwing for 2 scores in the 17-7 win for the Gods.
