Week 3 is in the books here on Mars and the divisions are starting to shape up.
In the Alpha Division:
The Wiggle Warriors lost a close one this week 24-10 to division rival Terminus bringing their record to 2-1 on the season. I Want A Hug still shined in this one rushing for 93yds on 13 carries and the Wiggles only TD. One week at a time, One game at a time... 2-1
The Grape Apes came out hot scoring 28 points in the 1st quarter on their way to a 42-17 win over Incredible Builds bringing their record to 2-1. Happy Feet Wombo Combo put in 3 TD'S, helping the Grape Apes back to a tie for the division lead with the Wiggle Warriors. 2-1
Terminus came up strong this week against the division rival Wiggle Warriors with a superb effort by the defense in a game that very well could have gone the other way if not for a few big plays on offense, 24-10. Kail Fast took one the distance in the 3rd quarter with 100 yds of daylight, to be followed up by Peyton Hillis scoring on an 85 yarder the next drive. Has Terminus found a winning combo?? 1-2
Incredible Builds dropped to 1-2 this week after falling to The Grape Apes in a game the defense is already trying to forget. Joseph Green highlighted the night for Incredible Builds as he had 160 yds receiving to go with 2 TD'S in the losing effort. It's going to be a tough road back to the top for Incredible Builds but nothing looks impossible in the Alpha division. 1-2
In the Beta Division:
The Azteca Dragons continued their reign of terror this week as they went to a scorched earth offense, wining 100-0 nothing over 2.0. Again Rashaad Penny lead the way with over 700 total yds and 11 scores as he continues to shred up all who stand in his way. Can anyone stop the Dragons? 3-0
The 95 Skers make a dramatic turnaround from last weeks loss, beating them Logzilla Boys 31-7. The 95 Skers saw a great effort from the running game as they combined for 301 yds and 4 scores, helping take their team to a 2-1 start to the season. 2-1
The Logzilla Boys fall to 1-2 following this weeks loss to the 95 Skers with the defense just getting run down. LZ QB provided the lone touchdown on a 4 yd pass early in the 3rd quarter but the 95 Skers would not be stopped. There's 16 games in a season so the Boys aren't out yet. 1-2
2.0 got their welcome to the Beta division, nice to meet you from the Dragons this week. 2.0 added their names to the growing list of victims who have been burned by Azteca, in a game that the mustered up 220 total yds. Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose or something like that. 0-3
In the Gamma Division:
The Compton Conspiracy Theorists continue to get the job done as they go to 3-0 after a 27-9 win over The League of Unremarkable Individuals, leaving them alone atop the division. Self Help Guru leading the charge once again, running for 140 yds and 2 scores in helping his team win another one. 3-0
The Jarvis Coffee Squirrels looked to be back in championship form this week, with a 56-3 thrashing of Mediocre Mayhem bringing their record to 2-1 on the season. QB Good could not be stopped in this one throwing for 339 yds and 5 TD'S while leading his team to the win. Chuck Norris also providing 3 scores in an all around effort by the offense. 2-1
The League of Unremarkable Individuals had rough go this week, falling to the division leading Compton in a tough loss. The Mandalorian just couldn't get going in this one as he only provided 91 yds from scrimmage and the offense flopped, getting only 3 FGS. Click the heels of your shoes together and say there's no place like next week 3 times. 1-2
Mediocre Mayhem drops to 0-3 after losing to the Coffee Squirrels in a blowout loss. The defense just couldn't stop the Coffee Squirrels from having their way with them and the offense couldn't keep the defense off the field. It's a tough league and anything can happen. 0-3
