I don't know what replay you watched but the defender never touched the blocker. Ever. The lead blocker has a route and an assignment. Here he abandoned his lead-blocking route for a defender who would have overshot the play.
I don't think this is a bug but I suggest they fix things like this. So what would be the proper forum for that?

The one where your lead block gets pushed back to the 30 and your QB is pushed back past the 30, I know it's been repeated a billion times over the years, but the visual (players on the field) is only an interpretation of data. I'm also assuming it's the replay you linked in your post unless you posted some random link in hope someone would figure out what you're talking about.
The play that you linked is a QB Rollout Weak, which is the opposite side the TE is on. Your guard pulls and blocks a defender on the line, your HB is chasing the next defender, because he is behind them, Your FB is reacting to the CB that hasn't been fooled by the play and is about 4-5 yards behind the line by the time the QB arches, as he is being pushed back by the FB blocking the CB giving time to the DE to break his block and make the tackle. I would just take the play out of your playbook until you get a faster QB and better blockers. That's if that's the play you're talking about.. oh also https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/forum/13333

It’s your run setting. If he is on anything but elusive, he would have cut upfield.

I see what you are saying. I thought by pushed back you meant physically pushed back not algorithmically.
Thanks for the input!

its annoying and weird but I do agree with him to a point. being he is elusive he will try to avoid all. the blocker got knocked back so he kinda tried to move away form the defender as well. Weird play.

Why would anyone agree with Edgar?
