I hate when WRs/TEs/HBs/FBs are past the first down line, but then run 4-5 yards back for the catch. Chain Mover SA would keep them from coming back across the line and killing drives. You guys figure out the percentages and whatnot.

Hook / Curl routes?

Or is it a bad QB pass they are adjusting to?

Hard to say. I'd just like a way to put an end to it.

When I want to avoid that I'll only select plays where all the route arrows are pointing up (away from the line of scrimmage). Any routes where the player curls back toward the line of scrimmage has the potential to dive back across the first down to make the catch.

Yeah it's a combo of play selection and bad throw.
