Biff Barf here with my colleague Spaceman Spiff
-Howdy y'all!
Soaking up all the news and barfing it back at you! The more things change
- The more they stay the same?
The more things change! Geez, didn't I just say they change? But, yeah... sumptin sumptin, DARKSIDE!!!
- Let's just get straight to the action.
-> DRAGON LEAGUE <-
Alpha Division
1 Anchorage Ducks CPU 7-5-0
2 Orlando Thunder CPU 6-6-0
3 Miola Maulers 5-7-0
4 Oklahoma City Angels 3-9-0
Oklahoma City Angels get their wings clipped by Miola Maulers, 3-55.
Orlando Thunder Defense is up for challenge but Offense fails them as Anchorage Ducks barely win, 0-3.
A horrible punt of only 31 yards from their own 12 and to add insult to injury a 5 yard return set up the winning FG after a 3 and out drive.
- If Miola can win the next two league games and OkC Angels can upset the Ducks then we might just avoid a CPU Div. Champ.
Thunder's loss to the Ducks might give us a reference on how likely OkCA's chances are!
- Not very, unless they can get player builds up-to-date. Either way the Maulers still have hope.
Beta Division
1 Obscure References 11-1-0 Clinched Div.
2 Knoxville Outlaws 4-7-1
3 Virginia Roosters CPU 4-7-1
4 Oakland Pirates 2-8-2
Obscure References capture the Knoxville Outlaws, 24-3.
Virginia Roosters defeat the Oakland Pirates. 17-10.
OR and VR had these games pretty much how they wanted them but it's clear References is playing on a whole other level!
-Yeah, they could conceivably even win the coveted home-field advantage in the playoffs after running off 8 straight league wins.
Outlaws' owner, Zane2204, should jump into the market and get more agent controlled players on roster for next season. They have potential!
-You... were surprisingly nice, wow.
Bite me!
Gamma Division
1 ScrmingRedDevlMercs4$ 11-1-0 Playoff Berth
2 Bay Area's Best Builds 11-1-0 Playoff Berth
3 Tampa Matadors CPU 3-9-0
4 Texas Magnums 3-9-0
Bay Area's Best Builds tear a new hole into the Texas Magnums, 24-3.
Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Moneyput their little horns into Tampa Matadors, 15-0.
Both front-runners tune up for next week's game to decide the division!
- It'll be an epic rap battle of history! Pitting two powers destined for the playoffs.
playoffs? PLAYOFFS!? Are we talking PLAYOFFS?!
- Yes.
OK...
- Hey, how did the triangle insult the circle?
Huh? I wasn't very good in geometry... How?
- He told him he was like your comments, POINTLESS!

OK, alright, let's get ready to RUUUUMBLLLE!
Biff Barf here, soaking up all the news and barfing it back at you! Along with the intrepid Spaceman Spiff we're giving you the low-down on Dragon league hoe-downs!
- The play-offs start tomorrow and, well, just how did we get here?
Beta was pretty much a given and the wild-card didn't surprise many out there.
- True to form the Gamma winning Bay Area's Best Builds b*tch slapped their divisional rivals for a second time.
Ah, but their piss poor performance against Obscure References proved to be costly as O.R. wins Home-Field.
- That might have been by design as now Obscure References must face a tougher Wild Card opponent than BABBs faces in Alpha's CPU winner.
Let's get straight to the action!
. : DRAGON League : .
Alpha Division
1 Anchorage Ducks CPU 7-7-0
2 Orlando Thunder CPU 7-7-0
3 Miola Maulers 6-8-0
4 Oklahoma City Angels 5-9-0
Orlando Thunder crush the Miola Maulers' dreams, 7-0.
Miola had set up this perfect opportunity and had they won...
- Had they beaten the Thunder into paste it would be the Maulers in post play.
Anchorage Ducks back into playoffs in loss to Oklahoma City Angels, 3-7.
- Really that says it all.
Beta Division
1 Obscure References 13-1-0
2 Knoxville Outlaws 6-7-1
3 Virginia Roosters CPU 4-9-1
4 Oakland Pirates 2-10-2
Virginia Roosters get squeezed out by Knoxville Outlaws, 0-3.
- Outlaws end season on a high note as they show off some defensive muscle.
Oakland Pirates can't get a break, having to face Obscure References in their tune up and lose, 3-40.
- Obscure gets golden opportunity to avenge regular season's only loss in wild card game.
Gamma Division
1 Bay Area's Best Builds 13-1-0
2 Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money 12-2-0
3 Tampa Matadors CPU 4-10-0
4 Texas Magnums 3-11-0
Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money rip the Texas Magnums a new one, 44-0.
- Will get to face a hot O.R. team looking for revenge.
But they have a legit chance to beat them again as they have also only lost to one team in league.
- Speaking of that one team...
Tampa Matadors are bashed by Bay Area's Best Builds badly, 0-48.
-BABBs get to test the Alpha divisions winner's metal in what should be a laugh-er.
BABBs can already smell the 'ship stadium's hotdogs and freshly painted locker rooms from here...

Spaceman Spiff Special SUPER Duper Report!
Hi everyone Your intrepid reporter here live from the friendly confines of my bedroom giving you the scoop on...
Dragon League Semi-final Wild Card Round!
Game of the Week!
Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money (12-2-0) at Obscure References (13-1-0)
It was the best of defenses, it was the worse of offenses... QB Randal Graves and his 168.5 PassYds, 1 PassTD, and meager 19 of 38 completion won game OMVP. Meanwhile, a CPU player, CB. Jake Roy received game DMVP honors with his FFUMble and recovery, five tackles, and a TFL. Obscure References' first lost fumble proved to be very costly as it killed a sure scoring drive early that could've changed the morale situation of both teams for the entire game. Instead of going up 3-0 or 7-0, O.R. ended up trailing 14-0 three minutes into the third quarter. It proved insurmountable in the light snow and 18 degree cold with light 4 mph winds. The Screaming Red Devil Mercs had a bad rushing and pedestrian passing day yet as ugly as it was the defense was just enough to keep them on tract to go for the "Third times the charm!" game against their bitter and unforgiving rivals. Speaking of those rivals...
Obscure References are upset at home (more ways than one) by the Screaming Red Devil Mercs 4 Money, 10-20.
Bay Area's Best Builds (13-1-0) Hosting Anchorage Ducks (cpu) (7-7-0)
Another ugly game by the winning team. The BABBs team was caught flatfooted early on and actually allowed the Ducks to gain first blood on their opening drive. After that though the vaunted BABBs defense shut the gates on the Duck's passing game and recorded six sacks, eight hurries and two interceptions while holding the Ducks to a dwarfish 36.2% completion rate. It was also the poor game planning of the Ducks that cost them the game since they ran 19 times for 94 yards (6.3 per) and many wondered why they abandoned the run so quickly.
Bay Area's Best Builds crush into reality the Anchorage Ducks, 27-3.

Heeeeeeeeey... alright that line made me laugh cause its 100% true. it would have been a great game if the guys didnt try everything in their power to lose it. dropping a wide open bomb at the end of half.. fumbling on the 3 yard line that ended a pretty close to perfect opening drive. the stats werent there for really any team but i think i lead slightly in all of the stats. unfortunately, i lead in fumbles lost, allowing my first punt return ever at just the "best" time and dropped passes.
what hurts the most is Agerm is the main guy who helped me with.. well everything (kind of a mentor whether he likes it or not) when i started and apparently remains my kryponite lol.
it was a great game though.. i dont feel bad for losing to either of those teams.. the win earlier against BABBs was 100% luck. for my first "real" season though, im still learning, builds, playbooks, tactics.. so i will get there eventually, hopefully
