So I was thinking of some of the forum suggestions by Dredgar, Xars and some others on where GLB2 could use a "nudge" in the right direction, i.e. shorter passes needing a higher completion % and possibilities on catch and run other than screens, along with Corndogs general meta arguments so I came up with a QB SA that addresses the issue (I hope) and all feedback is certainly welcome, including on the name (which I think is too SA long).
Description: This QB has a knack for hitting a wide open receiver in stride.
Ability Type: Active
Activiation Power : Pass Accuracy
Activation Condition: Throwing to a Wide Receiver more than 4 yards away from the nearest defender - AND - running at least 50% of make speed - AND - the QB is not under duress.
Activation Chance: Up to 15%, 30% , 50% (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
While Active : Regardless of normal pass rolls the ball has a chance to be delivered to the exact spot the receiver will be without any further need to adjust to the ball or break stride. The receiver still must make a standard receiving hands or catch in traffic role (as current) to secure the pass and determine resulting balance.
Chance for pass to be "on the money" as described above
Short : 80%
Medium: 40%
Long: 15%
Very Long:1%
Distance Power : Pass Power
Distance Chart:
Short: 1+ 10% of Pass Power (So if your pass pwoer is 40 , 1 -5 yards at 70 1-8 yards, at 100 pass power 1-11 yards)
Medium: Max Range of Short + 15% of PAss Power (So at 40 pass power, 5-10, at 70 8-18.5, at 100 pass power 11-26)
Long : Max Range of Medium + 30% of Pass Power (40 Pass Power, 10-22, at 70 19-40, at 100 26-56)
Anything over "Long" is the base 1% chance

Effects that would create:
Slants would become a more viable throw with the right type of receiver build - as would certain shallow crossing routes with the right coverage , would elevate the short completion % when it fires
Meta Effect : Right now there is really no incentive to speed on corners , corners can get blown by most QBs (even with the new mechanics) lack the ability to hit them exactly in step on the deep ball often enough to be tried. We don't want the deep ball to be "automatic" but this gives any QB with a reasonable amount of arm strength a 1 in 8 chance to hit the long ball perfectly if the receiver just blows the defense away.
Since it requires both Accuracy and Power to maximize, plus receivers being "wide open" it wouldn't be overpowered but rather effected by field conditions and the build choices / scheme of opponents.
