If a team is in vet, there should be something done so they can keep playing at a high level without being killed by chem every season.

Here's my Idea;

First Season : Normal Chem
Second Season : 2x Chem
Third Season : 3x Chem
Every Season After : 4x Chem

This would stop team jumps (Not sure that's even an issue anymore) but allow teams to compete.

But players have 5 seasons at Vet, so not really getting killed by chemistry every season?

I still like Chemistry the way it is. Yes, for us teams that have to turn over a percentage of our roster every season as players are lost it's a disadvantage but it's a logical one. You wouldn't expect a new player to have instant chemistry with his team or teammates.

If anything, teams that decide to stay in Vet instead of resetting should be kept together in one league so they all face the same challenges. Teams can but shuffled over to this league after they've played, at least, three seasons in Vet.

Have up to a max of three CPU teams fill available spaces then, if more teams are needed, add lowest ranked teams coming up from Pro.

You're missing the perennial part here, he's talking about teams that recruit new players every season because they lose them every season, staying in vet and picking up players with less than their maximum time left.

I don't think the bonus needs to be that extreme, but a 2-2.5x faster recovery rate for teams that have been at vet for 4+ seasons would be pretty neat to give users the option to run these kind of teams.

And I know these teams don't exactly sing to the bottom dollar, seeing as they delay retirement of players who you've already gotten the entire payment out of, but they also increase connectivity between agents, spark new ideas about new teams, and generally let users feel more fulfilled with their builds should something bad happen to their team - leaning them toward spending more in the future instead of walking away.

So in the end, I'd say overall they are a massive net benefit for the game as a whole if more teams can operate this way.

Maybe the numbers are a bit high, I still think the idea has merit.

Teams like the old Galactic Heroes and Columbus Rabid Lizards are hamstrung by chem every season. They constantly have to replace players that Legend out, so they're facing 1-5 season Vet teams at full chem with a roster shot through with 50 chem. It sucks, and teams like GH and CRL are absolutely necessary to the game due to the number of resets/owner disappearances/IRL stuff that shuts down teams before they've run their course. Agents have invested a lot of time and effort into building their players, and, if their team craps out early, there needs to be a place for them to finish out their careers, and those teams shouldn't face constant penalty season after season.

It takes around 25 games to get to full chemistry. That's basically over 80% of the season to just get to a level playing field with other teams. That's insanity. If I sign a player during the OFFSEASON it shouldn't take 80% of the season to get to a level playing field.

Yeah...I've always thought that was ridiculous. If you sign in the offseason, you should START with 100 chemistry. Punish teams that sign players during the season. The main reason this rule exists is so a team doesn't sign specific players late in the season for the playoffs.

They do if the swap teams...

Maybe not advanced acceleration but different starting point.
