basically 3 defensive linemen all between the tackles with one 0 tech NT and a couple of DEs lined up just inside the tackles rather than outside. I'm looking but haven't found any, does this alignment just not exist here or am I not looking hard enough?

3-4 Cover 3 pinches the LDE to the 3, 4i gap.
3-4 C1 TE smother has both ends playing inside tech.
3-4 Cover 3 Buzz has inside technique


There's more i'm sure but you really have to look and the play art doesn't line up with what the play you want is.

I really appreciate this actually. Even just knowing they exist motivates me to dig deeper to find em.

Isnt this goalline? or you want it like goalline but have the other positions lined up off?

I understand why you'd think that, but no, it's just a defensive front that's really rose to prominence in college football and is starting to make waves in the NFL. Last year Brandon Staley's Rams were the #1 defense in the NFL with heavy use of the tite front.

yeah idk about the elephant thing but the tite D I'm familiar with is more of a 3-3-5 big nickel with the DEs at 4i and the OLBs having rush/drop options

Get me some playart for it and I'll see if I can come up with plays that fit this for next season to suggest

There's some in the game already but the defensive play art is never true to the DL in game.

adding to this since I just found another one, 3-4 Sky Man Under has the pinched line as well.
