Then cap the S*s at each level. Or some kind of combo.

Limiting team build options doesn't make a lot of since at this stage of the game. But if it's done it should be a hard cap, not per tier. Tiers aren't balanced on offense and defense

I agree. A lot of people are saying 10, so I think that's fine. The bigger point would be uncapped S* creation if you have the benchmarks for multiples.

10 is a lot... its almost literally an entire offense or defense.

We did see that team who had 16 once didn't we? It was rubbish, but still.

Anyways, Bo is right, at this stage we really don't need caps anyway.

that's a pretty good idea too... stops flooding the game with S*DTs this way.

Now if they flipped CB base salary with LB (the moment I did it I actually wondered if it was a code/unintentional mistake because it's obvious) AND then moved FB to Tier 3, we'd have the blueprint for a lot different roster composition over the next 55 seasons than the past 55 ones.

I've always wondered why FB isn't a tier 3.

Pretty sure it's because they're a running back.

Theoretically, Tier 1 players have better caps and SP costs than Tier 2 or Tier 3.

I'm ok with tweaking down a FB to Tier 3 caps/SP cost model since it would be a prominent choice for a S*.

As a Tier 2, S* FB just don't have much of a role.

After making so many S* DTs, I considered going S* Punter and S* Kicker.

I don't disagree that it should be a tier 3, Just in the way it's set on offense. all positions that touch the ball are t2-1
