Did anyone else experience this?

In the Bengals v. Crocodiles game today Offense, Defense, and ST depth charts were all wrong even though it says the system ran the correct charts. I even went in to check if the players, somehow, were switched around in the charts but everything looks correct. So, what the hell?!?

Bengals owner is inactive.

I'm not sure what that has to do with it. It says the system still ran the correct depth charts and the depth charts themselves are set correctly. An inactive owner shouldn't affect that.

My experience is that the CPU sets depth charts once the team owner goes inactive

Well, that's one hell of a bug that needs to be fixed ASAP!! Especially with the Bengals in contention for a playoff spot!

I don't think it is a bug....it is a "feature".

Yup. It’s a feature for a reason. If a team goes inactive the game still tries to run the team for that season for the people who were signed up. The game also gives players the option to leave the team at that point if they want- but this helps some players.

Not to say that the system is perfect, but there is a reason for that.

Wait, so no matter what I set up as the GM the system is going to over-ride my settings and do it's own thing?!? We're in a playoff race for crying out loud!!

Just because the owner is inactive doesn't mean the coaching staff is. That's ridiculous!!!

I agree that if there is a GM the depth charts shouldn't get taken over by the CPU.

You could go over to the discord server and see if you can get ahold of someone on there. Good luck.

Actually, even more basically, if the depth charts/playbooks/tactics are being set for each game (not just left as 'Use Default') the system should recognize the team is still active and not take over (nor give players the option to leave the team).

You could just ask to own the team - they will let you buy it.

True, but if what constitutes an inactive team is changed, as per my suggestion above, then a team can continue operating regardless of owner status.

For instance, the Bengals are set to auto-renew, but if the owner needs some time away he shouldn't be forced to keep signing in if the coaching staff is still active in his absence.
