Interesting....so in pickup games, the players have 0 chemistry and thus have zero bonuses? But if said player has 100 chemistry in a regular game, he gets bonuses. So pickup games are not a very good indicator of an actual 100 chemistry player with the same skills?

Since no one has Chemistry in a pick-up game, it's a level playing field and would be a good indicator of how a build will do in a regular game where everyone has 100 Chemistry (as it's also a level playing field).

I mean, depending on how much toughness and heart a player has they will probably perform a lot better in the 100 chem games than the 0. CPU tends to put more into heart than players on average, so they are actually more formidable in pickup games in general. But yeah, you can still tell how well a build can perform in pickup games - though it helps to have good players to throw in across from them in the game to test them instead of cpus.

I can't 'thumbs up' CDog's posts but I do like how Chemistry works in the game.

As he said in another post, everyone's stats are still at max with 0 Chemistry. Increasing Chemistry gives bonuses to player stats.

When you join a team during the season, you can't expect to have Chemistry with players you've never played with. And, when you join a team during the off-season, you start with 50 Chemistry because you've "had time" to gel with the team. 100 Chemistry means you've been through the trenches with your team during games and know how to function as a unit on the field (thus giving max bonuses to stats).

IMO, leave Chemistry as is.

Except that chemistry hurts so many individual users and teams while giving even more advantage to the experienced super teams.

I personally have heard that's a difficult one, but I'm giving it a go myself so maybe anyone can do it? I dunno.

But, how long does it take to get 100 Chem? Less than half a season if you join a team in the pre-season? Even less than that if you have high contracts?

It's a bonus for players who stick around with a team long term. It's a bonus for teams who keep players long term. No team has an advantage over another when it comes to Chemistry.

Purchasing a team mid season in rookie sucked ass. If chem was decent we could have done something.

I'd suggest instead allowing non-boostable players to be created at a cheaper price. Everyone needs walk-on players to fill holes.

Also, I think Chemistry is fine.

This has been covered before. It takes about 25 games to get to 100%.

How many if the player has the Easy Going trait? Should be 25 - (25 * 20%) = ~19 games if my maths are correct. I'm sure someone on here has verified it.

Solid Idea, if play knowledge was granted in pickup games for pickup players they would fill that walk on role. If they replace a player (signing the pug player would cut the other one) They could come onto the team with chemistry then as well. 25 at rookie, scaling to 50 at vet.
